The wreck is not in the Irish Sea. It’s in the Celtic Sea. The wreck was also used for target practice by the Royal Navy in the 1950s.

A better comparison would be with the wreck of the Britannic, which is also laying on its side, but is in much better shape than Lusitania or Titanic. The Britannic is about 100 feet (30.5 meters) deeper, hasn't been dragged by a lot of fishing nets and doesn't face the same level of currents that the wreck of the Lusitania does.
