😂 Yeah, I usually don't encounter wild animals that often on these walks, especially in suburban Massachusetts of all places, but here, this turkey starts getting right up in front of me aggressively clucking. I take it that he didn't like being filmed!

I want to move to Worcester and for it being a small city it’s weird seeing so much of the land around the city being taken up by cars,parking lots and streets and nothing for actual people.

How many states have you filmed in so far? Are you keeping count?
@walkingdrivingincognito9 күн бұрын
That's a good question since I wasn't specifically keeping track. Let's see...other than NJ, NY, PA, CT, and MA where most of my videos are based, I believe I've also made videos in NH, RI, IL, OR, NM, TX, MD, DE, and VA, so I think it's 14 total. I also did a number of videos in DC back in 2022 if you count that. It's been a fun way to see different parts of the country for sure!
@mnk.73109 күн бұрын
@walkingdrivingincognito Cool! I hope you get to film in all 50, and territories too. (Yes, I'd count DC as well).

i loved that park when i was younger and lived in the area. i lived just on the other side of little tor rd from there , maybe 6 blocks away , and a friend lived in lake Lucille so we were always exploring and riding bmx bikes etc all through the 90's .sledding down the golf course hill and almost jumping the road was sooooo much fun . . we used to camp in the park occasionally , or on south mountain by what's now Sky DR. there's a flat section of rock that was our spot near the peak of that road off S Mtn Rd. . i helped do a lot of work in Kennedy for an Eagle scout project , along with Dutch Gardens in town by the sheriff's office and courthouse. We were town kids , and though we def were mischievous , the cops knew us and we were good to our area , cleaned up etc , so they let us do our thing. that area was a great place to grow up . thank you for posting this. great memories.

I wonder what they will do with the building once it shuts down for good :( maybe convert it to offices or apartments, my friend and I are really sad about this happening it was our childhood mall. I remember when they remodeled/update and built the Barns and Nobles, it was a good addition to the mall, I got so many of my books for school from there.

Merry Christmas! I'm nowhere near there today I'm afraid, and I usually try not to repeat the same places I've covered before as much as I can, but yes if I see an interesting event or place in that area to cover that shows something different than what I showed here, then I'll head back there sometime. I agree and that's also why I like to check out these lesser known parts of New York state, because they don't have a lot of content on KZbin. There are so many other KZbin channels that focus on NYC, and I like to do those videos too, but I also try to visit those less visited areas nearby that get less coverage from time to time. Merci d'avoir regardé!

Unfortunately I did not get a chance to cover that concourse for this video, since I got to the venue a bit later than I anticipated and I wanted to get to my seat in time to catch the starting lineup intros.

Can this be done on a day trip from El Paso ? I just want to get a few shots of the main scenic areas, not explore the park in detail.
@walkingdrivingincognitoАй бұрын
I think it's doable. I believe it only took about 1.5 or 2 hours to drive one-way from here to El Paso. There didn't seem to be a whole lot between the park and El Paso though, so I think it would be a good idea to get enough gas, food, etc. for the trip.

That's great quality on the dashcam. What make and model is it?
@walkingdrivingincognitoАй бұрын
This was using a GoPro Hero 9, my old camera that I used to use for videos that I ended up replacing. It's a good camera for driving videos but it tends to overheat if you're filming for too long inside the car. And tbh this one is actually not my favorite video in terms of quality because I was filming into the sun and it was a bit dark, but this isn't a road I drive that often so I figured I'd put it up anyway. I actually just did another driving video of Route 9 a bit west of here last week, I'll post that video tomorrow.
@psycholist724Ай бұрын
@@walkingdrivingincognito I run GoPro Hero 10s front and back and my thought was that your video's image stabilization and overall quality was exactly like my GoPros. I know about the overheating issue but that issue is minimized when I use them as bike cameras as long as I'm moving. What do you use now?
@walkingdrivingincognitoАй бұрын
I use the GoPro Hero 12 now, I only got it replaced because the Hero 9 just completely stopped working on me one day, but I'm pretty happy with the Hero 12. My only issues with it are the same overheating that I mentioned earlier, and the poor quality in low light when walking while filming, which is common for all of those small cameras (except for the handheld DJI cameras). But yes if you're using it for biking vids, the overheating shouldn't be an issue for longer videos, it only seems to be a problem when I'm filming 4k resolution inside a vehicle for longer than 30 minutes.
@psycholist724Ай бұрын
You should try biking Route 9. It's fun and you might even have to deal with a cop along the way. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIPVnGaipNyolas

Wow, now that is a crazy vid, out of all the times I've driven on route 9, I don't think I've ever seen anyone actually bike on that road before! There are usually folks doing up to 60 mph or more on that road at times, so that's quite the adventure to say the least!
@psycholist724Ай бұрын
@@walkingdrivingincognito This is kinda my jam. I do all the big (bike-legal) roads including Storrow Drive, Soldiers Field Road, Revere Beach Parkway...had a few police interventions too, as you saw in this video.

Thanks for watching! The best part of the trail that I really wanted to see was the boardwalk, so at least that was open at the time. The rest of the loop trail would have just been a walk through the woods, but I thought it would have been a nice contrast to the walk over the water on the boardwalk.
