You did the 100 and 300 level concourse, what about the 200 level concourse?
@walkingdrivingincognito2 күн бұрын
Unfortunately I did not get a chance to cover that concourse for this video, since I got to the venue a bit later than I anticipated and I wanted to get to my seat in time to catch the starting lineup intros.

Can this be done on a day trip from El Paso ? I just want to get a few shots of the main scenic areas, not explore the park in detail.
@walkingdrivingincognito9 күн бұрын
I think it's doable. I believe it only took about 1.5 or 2 hours to drive one-way from here to El Paso. There didn't seem to be a whole lot between the park and El Paso though, so I think it would be a good idea to get enough gas, food, etc. for the trip.

@walkingdrivingincognito11 күн бұрын
This was using a GoPro Hero 9, my old camera that I used to use for videos that I ended up replacing. It's a good camera for driving videos but it tends to overheat if you're filming for too long inside the car. And tbh this one is actually not my favorite video in terms of quality because I was filming into the sun and it was a bit dark, but this isn't a road I drive that often so I figured I'd put it up anyway. I actually just did another driving video of Route 9 a bit west of here last week, I'll post that video tomorrow.
@psycholist72411 күн бұрын
@@walkingdrivingincognito I run GoPro Hero 10s front and back and my thought was that your video's image stabilization and overall quality was exactly like my GoPros. I know about the overheating issue but that issue is minimized when I use them as bike cameras as long as I'm moving. What do you use now?
@walkingdrivingincognito11 күн бұрын
I use the GoPro Hero 12 now, I only got it replaced because the Hero 9 just completely stopped working on me one day, but I'm pretty happy with the Hero 12. My only issues with it are the same overheating that I mentioned earlier, and the poor quality in low light when walking while filming, which is common for all of those small cameras (except for the handheld DJI cameras). But yes if you're using it for biking vids, the overheating shouldn't be an issue for longer videos, it only seems to be a problem when I'm filming 4k resolution inside a vehicle for longer than 30 minutes.

You should try biking Route 9. It's fun and you might even have to deal with a cop along the way. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIPVnGaipNyolas

Wow, now that is a crazy vid, out of all the times I've driven on route 9, I don't think I've ever seen anyone actually bike on that road before! There are usually folks doing up to 60 mph or more on that road at times, so that's quite the adventure to say the least!

@@walkingdrivingincognito This is kinda my jam. I do all the big (bike-legal) roads including Storrow Drive, Soldiers Field Road, Revere Beach Parkway...had a few police interventions too, as you saw in this video.

Thanks for watching! The best part of the trail that I really wanted to see was the boardwalk, so at least that was open at the time. The rest of the loop trail would have just been a walk through the woods, but I thought it would have been a nice contrast to the walk over the water on the boardwalk.

Great video, loved the folding bed hidden in the chest (shown at the beginning) but not so sure why all the carriages have massive panes of glass added to them... either they were all originally 'open' carriages, or the original smaller glass panes framed in wood, were removed? There's NO WAY that glass was ever made soooo large during that period of time.

Glad to share as always and glad that you enjoyed it! 😊 I've been wanting to go there for awhile now since I've seen the photos from Sintra before, so it was a big inspiration for this trip. Yes, I've always enjoyed traveling and exploring and learning about different places I haven't been to before, and I'm grateful for having started this channel as it's motivated me even more to do that, both sharing my experiences, motivating others, and reliving all the trips I've taken. That's why I usually try to visit interesting places that I haven't been to before or don't know much about. I still have a couple weeks worth of videos from Portugal left to upload as I was able to collect a ton of content from this trip! So whenever you have time, maybe over the holidays, I hope you get the chance to enjoy them and maybe inspire a trip of your own someday. It was an amazing experience exploring and learning about that country these past few weeks.
