Shoulda bought a Godin RG-3 with the 5 chambers and HDR combined with the lace sensors and 2 point bridge that has a brass sustain block, sounds better than any fender I own, including USA. Nice tone though. Always look for that Glassy Bell like clean tone in the neck, ie Hendrix Angel tone

I've watched other reviewers indicate that some of the units shortcomings have been addressed by Boss and the firmware was updated. Do you know if this is correct? Great review by the way; my second hand unit should arrive today 😀 👍

Thanks for the nice playing! Excellent review I made an IR of my guitar and thought it would be a good solution to get this as a loader and pre amp for my solo acoustic performances

Do you know if you are able to connect a vocal harmonizer pedal to the AD-10, and what the correct way to connect the two together would be?

Hey friend, I've been looking at the Sansamp FlyRig (I have a British model!) for my acoustic, and found your demo of all of these units. Fantastic resource! Danke!

Hmm. It sounds like you might have gotten a faulty product with that fishman rare earth blend pickup.

I suspect the models work best matched with the kind of guitar you are playing. For instance, they probably created their jumbo image by analyzing the signals coming from a piezo in a jumbo guitar against the same guitar being miked. When you supply the device with a dreadnaught piezo sound, the source is not similar to what they used to construct their image, so the image is going to sound bizarre. What they *should* do is add a *source* switch where you tell it what kind of guitar you are playing. That way, it can calibrate your source *before* applying the model. Then, even if you have a dreadnaught, you could use their jumbo model image and it would sound like a jumbo instead of tinny garbage.

LG Robin

I just got mine. You are the Best on KZbin for explaining. May I ask you a question? I bought 2 acoustic amps and 1 powered Kustom PA50 speaker. Can I run one XLR to one amp and the second XLR to my second amp and get the same guitar& vocal mix to both? Now can I plug a 1/4” and out to my Kustom speaker and get both guitar & vocal? There are DI outs on the amps. Would it work better to go from the DI out on one of the amps to the powered Kustom speaker? I’m sorry but I can’t figure this out. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Phil 🎸

The auto tune hate is not necessary. It's just another form of audio manipulation, just like harmony, echo, reverb, and so on. You don't like it, that's fine, but the really good review of the device would have been amazing had you shown this feature along with all the others.

Great review I like it so much. Sure if I had a chance to work with a great Eq system on the stage I would choose M88. But since I’m a singer songwriter who has to work with not the best sound system of a live music venue. I have to choose nd96. I’m already using nd767 I love the clarity of it but if I boost up the treble as much as I desire, then I’m facing with the feedback issues. That’s why I’ll go with its feedback resistant big brother nd96.

Dude….dumb. Regarding the trace acoustic…it sounds terrible because you have the pre-shape selected which is a mid cut boosting the bass and treble “AND YET” you then decide to cut more mids and boost more treble. Hints why everything sounded metallic. Maybe before you make video reviews, do at least a little bit of research prior. That way…people that actually want good information don’t think negatively about great equipment and/or realize you have no business speaking about gear. Lost all credibility with me. Sorry to be so negative, but that was just all bad.

its ok, it sounds kinda robotic. If you use it with double effect, it sounds like Strawberry Fields Beatles. I think its fun, especially if you want to loop vocals but its not something other people are going to like to hear you fiddle with.. itd have to be set up for something... i took 4 hours the one day and literrally set up my PA at home to configure this Pedal... And I wrote down my Pre-sets on paper... You gotta want that lol which is fine, i do because live sound is a crap shoot every different club.. so this thing can save the day with its batteries.. but you gotta prep it... i couldnt configure on the fly entire new settings like i could with a pedal board and amp... but the golden lining is you can control your vocals someplace they might not be good -- or you can take a cheap 150$ guitar and make it sound like a 2500$ guitar with the different EQ, make a high pass etc...

Can you connect a fs5u and assign it to stop the loop? And is there an option to stop it anytime in the middle of the loop or to press the fs5u and the loop will have to finish the whole loop?
