My blacksmith client doesnt show any option for getting links. The only thing that shows up is "link twitch for drops"

True. We weren't thinking about the damage at the end. We were just running base gear score normals so we didn't really have loot or anything to lose. I only revived him just to see if I could pull it off.

Barb sub 25 is king brother im a barb main for this wipe and last, however there is one main cointer to this.......bear druid bring a bardiche with savage roar and you can 100% kill anyone 1on1

@@killerkw17 makes sense my only logic is why hp over mr is that a base kit lock is nothing conpared to a ironwill barb, but your perk selection is the pinnacle of a barb good stuff i was thinking about making a how to on how i play barb gave me some good idears

The ‘Platform-Link’ system has now been removed. This was necessary to streamline the backend to better support store platform features such as upcoming DLC packages. This is just tough luck.. Depresing acutally...

You can still link on steam as long as you've never bought any Redstone shards, you'll just lose your character on steam

can i link my steam account to a fresh account on epic? the redstones are cheaper at epic so i was just wondering if it´s a possibility to buy them on epic and still play on my steam account?

Yes you can, but only if you've never bought any shards on steam. Just keep in mind to use EPIC and buy the shards first to upgrade and then link. Once you link you will "wipe" your character from Steam, so it will be like starting over. No big deal though, there's a wipe soon anyways

Does this mean I get the Steam copy for free, when it releases? I would hope the dev gives us keys, so I can use Steam (preferred), since they have the ability (since 3rd party keys are $0 profit for Steam). Any ideas on this? Have the mentioned this?

The game is out on steam with a free to play version. If you want to unlock all of the features in game you'll need to purchase Redstone shards and upgrade to a legendary account, or link your existing paid version from blacksmith.

No, you won't lose them. The only thing that you have to remove is any characters you have on steam. You'll keep everything from blacksmith

If you're new to the game and never bought it you won't need to link anything, you'll just need to buy 15 redshards in game and use those to upgrade to a legendary account.

quick tip to save some people time. if you have not uninstalled your game you can install the game in like 2minutes on steam. all you have to do is start downloading dark and darker on steam pause(right click it and click open game files) and paste the game files you already have from that point on steam will auto update(if it does not quit steam completely or click uninstall dark and darker and reinstall and it will notice files already exist... good luck

Yes, you have to wait for the portals to come out of the ground and then you can open them. It's just like waiting for any other static exit to open up.

@@killerkw17 thought I was just SOL. I would find these and then just push on attempting to kill everything in my path till I found a new one. In goblin maze I think the stairs should take me out but they are always covered. Didn't know I had to wait for it
