Love her. Seems like here she doesn’t know just how good she really is a. When the song kicks in-she owns it. Couldn’t imagine at her age here being live and so young. Think she is awesome. Saw her a couple years ago.

As someone who plays live shows in 4 bands, props to the keyboard player who you KNOW got told the day of to learn that song yet he got super into it and did he absolute best. He is clearly a true musician

Paul Shaffer was the long time band leader for Letterman and I'm sure had major influence on what music appeared on the show so he would have known well in advance who he would playing with

Dude, that's Paul Shaffer, you gotta look him up. As musical director for Letterman's show and leader of "The World's Most Dangerous Band" he had an amazing ear and broke new bands onto network air for the first time over and over and over. I was watching the night that R.E.M. played outside of Athens for the first time. Paul played with everyone, and bands fought to play with him on Letterman. I really miss the days when some band was going to blow you away almost every night.

I love the original release but Paul Schaffer blows me away with how perfecty he adds to the song! Paul has done a lot and worked with the best! I have seen him with the Roots on Fallon.

I've always listened to this song thinking, what this really needs is some old guy playing a keyboard that sounds like an organ thinking he's doing something other than make the song sound like shit.
