Great glimpse into the hard work that the Boom team is putting in. Looks like they are doing things the hard way, which is the only proper way for long term success. Thanks to everyone who made this video possible.

The amount of progress humans have made in the work of robotics in the past 10 years is absolutely insane. A few years ago it was extremely impressive to have one walk around without falling over, now all of them can walk and respond to hand gestures. At the rate we're going I think robots like Neo and Optimus are gonna be as popular as iPhones in a decade or two.

There’s a comic about robot Nannie’s I don’t remember the name They had a system where after the robots were developed they went to “school” A human teacher taught them how to cook, clean, take care of babies etc After they “graduated” (aka passed without major issue) they were sent off to the families they would be taking care of

Putting laundry in a machine is easy. Folding it is not. I don't see robots doing that for years and years.. And it's the most time consuming part of the chore. I also don't see robots being able to do any real house cleaning like dusting any time soon . Well, unless there's nothing on the surfaces.

I grew up on long Island where we had Grumman, Fairchild and Republic testing jets all the time. Sonic booms were common and we loved it. Then we moved into the space age. This is exciting seeing a relatively small company do something this revolutionary ... Evolutionary I dare say. And to hear a principle say "F-cking fantastic" is down right cool. I'm reminded of the days of Yeager and Crossfield.

I feel like they should try to hide the cameras on neo a bit more, they really look like eyes but that brings it into the uncanny valley for me, aside from that this is really cool!

This is the first time I've seen a humanoid robot that stands up straight and walks without the bent knees. That's a big advancement in itself

So you're just paying for a beta robot that can hand you things, just so it can train itself and gather data to then help build future robots. It's not there yet - but in the next 30 years I could see it become "fluent" in human tasks and mannerisms.

I just hope to god you guys made the Coast Guards Ocean Gate Testimonies Mandatory viewing for your engineers. All engineering spaces need to listen to it. Not only does it help engineers with making sure things are safe, but it helps engineers understand where the money is coming from, but how business models evolve throughout a companies life. Hire an experienced engineer, and ask them to sift through all of the Coast Guards footage, have them chop it up, and make it digestible, and make your engineers watch it. Its truly a great learning experience for what not to do, and how you can do it better.

Can't wait for Neo to be around kids: "Neo, go kick my brother in the nuts please"; "Neo, can you fart?" ; "Neo, go to mom and dad's room right at 3am and just stand there and make breathing noises like Darth Vader." -- Next Day: "Yes, Hello? Customer Service please yes, Neo's been shot."
