'When writing or speaking publicly about alcoholism, we urge each of our Fellowship to omit his personal name, designating himself instead as "a member of Alcoholics Anonymous." Very earnestly we ask the press also, to observe this request, for otherwise we shall be greatly handicapped." From the book, 'Alcoholics Anonymous' Foreword to first edition. The book is meant to be suggestive only.

Thank you so much for this!! My college online lecturer is not able to lecture but rather just reads snapshots of the very thick text book I have and I can't keep up because lecturer doesn't seem to understand the content to make it interesting enough to follow and the textbook is so thick and sorry boring, I'm going to fail my studies I think so this was awesome. The South African Law lectures online are very rare and the few that are there are of very poor quality so when I get to view something like this and you repeat what I've just learned in the textbook its so much more helpful. If only we could get more of these kind of talks to all law subjects it would really help online law students :)

An appeal for land distribution and a decent social grants for the local South African's for the old age and disability grant mental patients grant must be also increased once DA can approve land distribution and disability grant mental patients and old age people they have the vote as a result a tender to use for building a decent home ,and growing vegetables for the family with the required machinery for plugging you got the votes people already used to cooking in gas stove and boiling water gor bathing do a house is more important at the moment not backyard living house gulfill the requirements first to prove DA can then rescue SA

This was very interesting, however, really needed to at least mention the breadth of his compositions- the 13 operas, the 5 symphonies, including those that were not published, the 30 concerted works for soloist and orchestra, the great number of chamber works, songs, cantatas. Saint-Saens left a great legacy, of which only a fraction is known. One serious oversight regarding the Danse Macabre- the live recording used to illustrate the work is not Saint-Saens' orchestration, but rather an orchestration for that particular ensemble- very misleading; particularly since Saint-Saens was a master of orchestration. thanks

I have no faith in anything said or done in this country.... "When the Judiciary becomes the Midwife of Tyranny then the law becomes the most Lethal Weapon of a Fascist State".... (Thomas Jefferson).... We therefore are not far from those ideals...how can it be, when a Marxist/Socialist State does not care for it's people to begin with.??? Let's put it another way...With Bad Laws and Good Officials it is still possible to Rule a County. But, if the Officials are bad then there's no hope in Hell, even with the best laws will certainly not be able to rule the country...???

The Constitution as Well Human Rights in South Africa, is a joke. Humans is Road Paved with Hypocracy, which in itself Creates a Barbarious Society...take it or leave it What is right, is wrong and what is wrong, is right...Just go figure. Everything is just laid bare to suit the gluttonous ANC and their Henchmen Sick indeed....

The ANC will never relinquish power! They have poisoned the well by creating more division between Blacks and Whites by keeping racism alive in securing emotional votes and buying majority votes with grands-, BEE cadre deployments-, using governmental and parastatal entities as employment agencies-, extended governmental departments (e.g. newly created Electricity Ministry/Department)-, overinflated tender allocations to preferential bidders-, all using tax payers’ money to fulfil job creation targets. In the diminishing balance depreciation of the ANC power over the last few years of non-delivery on promises, ever increasing corruption (greylisted), increasing crime, junk status, collapse of all governmental services, very few alternative options in the form of promises can be offered by the ANC. With depleted revenue collections efforts after the poor management of the Covid-19 pandemic, where many people lost their jobs and business closed, loadshedding (lost of revenue by Eskom impacting ANC fund extraction for social investments), bail-out commitments for SAA, Denel, Transnet, Eskom, etc. (not to save these institutions, but to protect BEE deployment and contracts), leaving no more room for increased funding in buying votes. The ANC strategy of institutionalised misguided rights of ever increasing demands by ANC voters is therefore no more financial affordable with the already overstated direct- and indirect taxes (e.g. increased electricity prices, environmental taxes, etc. with no additional benefits, rather reduced value received by users), and will leave the ANC only two options to sustain/increased votes:1. Continue with the previous election rhetoric of freedom, apartheid, racism, etc. and the introduction of new “hand-outs” offerings e.g. land reform without compensation, National Health Insurance (NHI) which will place more stain on an already failing economy and 2. Gestapo driven strategy in elimination and/or discrediting any ANC apposing position, which can already be seen for those who dare to speak out against the failing policies and actions of the ANC.

Thank you for this informative presentation on Rwanda. It is a gem of a country, I’d highly recommend it as an almost local destination. Rwandair offers direct flights from Johannesburg, with fares sometimes lower than the Johannesburg/ Cape Town return fare. The RDB (Rwandan Development Board) offers discounted gorilla trekking permits to South African passport holders - it is $500 instead of the standard fee of $1500 (discount valid until the end of 2023). I’ve been to Rwanda twice, and will go back as soon as possible.
