When you think about it, KZbin itself is a goldmine for ideas. You can easily find popular videos from all different kinds of people and walks of life, and pluck out a few ideas from each. You could make a playlist with one video per chapter, and find a way to bring it all together as a single coherent idea.

I agree. I do the same thing... You tube is a great resource tool-- not only finding out solutions, but for getting ideas for just about anything!!!

As I relaxed on my patio, I noticed the PALM TREES spreading their leaves to catch the brightness of the sun. My brother, William, approached me and asked, "Can you tell me what a GHOST ORB is? "Yes." I answered, "When it gets dark, I'll show you." That evening, I SPENT TIME WITH MY BROTHER filming the bedroom of our recently deceased father. Even though we couldn't identify anything out of the ordinary with our eyes, we could see ghost orbs flying around the room on the screen. (DOOR)

I try not to let myself play the single, solitary game I have on my phone until I'm in bed. That way if I lose track of time, I've only given up sleep instead of giving up sleep AND still having to get all my after-work stuff done. I can make anything an excuse not to write, so I have to be uber-strict with myself about distractions. 😂 My current excuse is that my son's cat chewed up my laptop charger, so I have to wait till the new one gets delivered on the 10th...although I'm perfectly capable of writing longhand, so it's an awful excuse. 🤣

@buckybarnesleftarmАй бұрын
Sometimes I’ll get these weird phone calls. The number calling me is never familiar. Sometimes I answer anyway, because what if I do know them? What if it’s a call I regret not picking up? So, once in a while, I’ll pick up the call. “Hello, is this the young woman living at *my home address*?” That’s weird. They could just call me by my name. But what if they have good intentions? “Yah… that’s me”, I say with hesitation. On the other line, there’s a pause, followed by a rustle of papers and some muffled mumbling. The voice speaking to me is much deeper now, distorted too. “We’re looking for young women”, is all the voice says. My heart stops and I hang up immediately. This feels like something out of a horror movie, a complete work of fiction. That’s the last phone call I’m ever going to pick up. (CYBERPUNK)

Stefanie is writing a FICTIONAL story about "Campfire Village" and wants to visit a camp site in order to gather information. She makes a PHONE CALL to ask her friend, John, to accompany her. Although he isn't home, he is expected shortly. Since she wants to leave first thing in the morning, she makes one LAST CALL an hour later. He answers her call, "Hi." (BOX)

high school was challenging (academically and emotionally), but i’m so grateful for what it taught me about the world and about life. it expanded my. worldview, forced me to think analytically about history/literature, and built resilience within me. it’s funny bc i was so much more disciplined back then and sometimes i wish i was held accountable for things, whereas now, i don’t see the consequences of my actions until much later. even basic stuff like waking up early, not sleeping during the day, etc. are things i wish i was held accountable for. so yes, i would say that my middle school and high school years have molded me into the young adult that i am today.

my top 5 soft skills: getting straight to the point, having random knowledge about a lot of things, communicating with others by meeting them at their level, being curious (which helps me learn new information quickly), having a “big picture” mindset that allows me to apply knowledge to real life scenarios/problems

Yes, that is a great way. Being a fictional author… getting my books published is my long term goal. Whereas learning on social media is my short term work in progress. Anything else is a bonus. Granted, I understand that everyone needs money, but learning the fundamentals is just as important.
