I’m so glad to be in the company of the preceding comments. This production makes a mockery of Vivaldi’s music. The director, the costume designer, etc., should be ashamed of themselves for foisting such dung on the public. If you want to display Orinski’s physique, then have the intelligence - dare I say, “taste” - to do so in accordance with the period of the opera. And, Orinski, himself, should have the artistic integrity to shun such productions/nonsense.

This is what happens in a mechanistic- mystic thought frame civilization where people have to supress their inner life and love force!
