Just finished DM'ing a 1 year D&D campaign based on this song. The party is going to walk into a pub with a bard singing about their adventures in the next session. This will be the song. They have no idea

This is the album for the hardcore deep in the soul Rush fan that still feels like that kid cast out in school and listens this to escape into a different reality and come out with renewed sense that everything will be alright 👍 🥁🙏👌👍 Long live the music well beyond our days on this planet 🌎

An exercise of self indulgence with an unlucky result. Their worst album along with vapor trails. Anyway a 6/10 rating. Their worse works are anyway good.

Still my boys, 45+ years now. Good guys and probably the most talented musicians and lyricists ever. Whatever they touched was a success, gold. RIP Neil...

Of the two long-forms on Caress, I much prefer Fountains. "Bacchus Plateau" is especially wonderful. :)

This was early in Geddys career yet it shows what a great singer he is. Alex making his gibson sound like a flute is astounding.

Once, from the constellation of Cygnus, was formed a 20 armed being. Each tentacle held a drumstick. Each stick buzzed faster than a Delirian hummingbat overdosing on protonectar. R.I.P. professor

Born in 1967 heard this first in 1976 when i was 9.It was thru a friends brother who was like 14 years at the time. This fountain of lamneth brings tears to my eyes.Ill find myself for no reason humming these songs in my head.Only rush fans understand this side of this album is a refuge from the insanity of this world.O will raise my gobblet to the cast of 1943 and give a toast to the professor's genius. His genius with lyrics was another one that made him the proffessor.I think this man locked himself in a room and ate peyote and read don juans and ayn rand books and came up with this. When kiss was on tour rush was opening.Alex said when this was done evenbefore it was released he let paul stanley hear it.I would have liked to been in a room like a fly and saw that.He said the look on stanleys face was like wtf.Thats funny.

This is the quintessential Concrete Blonde song. Johnette's vocals are the best, Mankey's guitars are the best, and Thompson keeps the rhythm with simple yet melodic accuracy... it is by far my favorite CB track, and one of my favorite tracks of any group, top 10. It's powerful, dark, but meaningful... this is music at it's best. Truly the most criminally underrated band of all time. 🌷🥀

The song really is so vivid and still sublime nothing seems forced or tacked -on really one of those songs that racks your mind
