Dont use transmissions with more gears, shifting slows you down a LOT in this game, i always tune drag cars down to a 5 speed on a 6 speed race trans unless i can get away with a 4 speed

You can tune it with 4 gears and also gets you more acc than 5/6 gears

FH5 sounds pretty dang good and FM23 is not the same sound but it’s passable I guess. (Some would say it’s wretched but that’s the thing it can be somewhat subjective) No car in a game will ever sound exactly as it does in real life in my opinion. It’s similar to recording music in a studio versus playing live music. I think there needs to be some technological advancements in sound design and capturing of sounds for it to be even mildly consistent. Just my take whether it’s entirely right or wrong. I don’t like it in TCM. Car audio is a tricky thing. There seems to be no consistency.

@@Blikzzzz yeah but in this case you have the freedom of a video game. if a purpose built drag car has infinite fuel, infinite engine durability and tires that don't blow up at high speeds, it would easily beat a road legal hypercar in topspeed. unless if the dragster has a soft limitter which it absolutely does in this game.

Sounds like both games didnt get the exhaust note correct. FM23 is actually close but FM6 will always be the best when it came to the sound of this car
