Presidents Nixon and Reagan were the two greatest US Presidents that America produced for the last hundred years or so, absolutely outstanding, far more than just politicians or Presidents, they were also great statesmen that bestrode the globe, mouling it for the better. What about the Watergate affair I hear some ask, well, no one in the world will ever convince me that Nixon was the first or only President ever to be involved in the bugging of another Party's headquarters! Why is Nixon still vilified because of Watergate, while President Clinton is treated like some kind of hero, despite his shenagins while in the White House. This is just another example of the absolute hypocrisy and bias exercised by the liberal leaning media.

My grandfather mentioned that two things helped him awaken. One was Lin Biao's escape and death in 1971, which made him question Mao Zedong and the Communist Party system. The other was Nixon's visit the following year, which made him interested in American politics and the Constitution. He believed in the liberal democratic system for the rest of his life.

My questions for the American peoples, what do you think about George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, and Ronald Reagan.......?

17:03 Looks like Richard Nixon mentioned the leader of the Philippines and that is Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Since Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was the longest serving president of the Philippines, he met the presidents of the United States and they are Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan

This was the tape that forced Nixon to resign. It was so bad that members of his own party walked over to the White House and told him that his time as President was over based on just this one recording. Had Nixon not resigned, he would've not only been impeached in the House by a huge margin, he would've also been convicted in the Senate also by a huge margin (85 Senators would've voted for conviction).

Beautiful footage of Budapest... somehow I got goosebumps, by knowing, that the adults and elderly people seen at the market on the footage survived WWI and WWII, and what they have gone trough, and still smiling and doing their job. Humans are amazingly resilient.

Nixon's presidency was an American version of a Greek tragedy. Sometimes I think that, deep down, he never felt he was worthy of the good things he achieved and doomed to sabotage himself. If he had just stopped that nonsense at the beginning, he might have been remembered as one of our better presidents - or at least debated over being so. He was his worst enemy, there was no way around it, he had to go, what a waste.

Why did they need to bring all of this to Nixon in the first place? Why didn't they do the cover-up without involving the President? It looks like they hatched the plot themselves, without Nixon knowing. They should have tried to cover it up likewise.

I am seeing lots of fake and Photoshop pictures in the video. I don't know if the people at the Richard Nixon library are seeing something different than me. But there is too much. Malinformation, disinformation, and misinformation concerning former presidents of the United States that should never be.

Nixon talking about the end of Johnson’s presidency: “No progress had been made at the negotiations in Paris, and the United States had not put forth a comprehensive peace proposal.” Lies, as usual, from Nixon. Truth: Johnson was about to achieve a peace agreement, but a Nixon campaign staffer illegally negotiated with the South Vietnamese delegation telling them to scuttle that agreement, claiming candidate Nixon would give them a better deal. All to keep the war going, as Nixon knew he’d lose the election if the shooting stopped in Vietnam and the troops started coming home. Four years later, Nixon achieved the same peace proposal his campaign had scuttled. It wasn’t just Watergate. Nixon was a lawless person from top to bottom.
