They don't feel intuitive. You can still take status through shields, trying to shield out of a run feels bad and you end up dodging sometimes.

I don't know if it still works but at around 60-80 damage on most characters you can kill them with jab jab down tilt, iad neutral air, jump immediate and forward air. Note: you have to ground bounce your opponent near the edge for the neutral air to connect. I just started playing as beetlejuice so I'm still learning. Fun character + good channel
