Would a miyota 82 hand fit on a nh36 movement? I accydentaly bought seconds hand that says miyota 82 to my nh36. I am trying to put together a watch for the first time and i dont want to break it. Should i try?

Handy tip: You can get the screw going with the tweezers. BTW, were you drunk when you did this?

Those plate screws are flyers sometimes. I lost one of them when reassembling it, but I’m thankful that I had a donor locked up NH36 on standby.

Tooth pick and rodico is your friend. If I do the swapping. I just loosen the screw enough so I can pick it up with my tweezer then stick it to a rodico. The tooth pick is just to hold the plate in place.

Hi! How do you know when the date wheel is "Back in it's original position" ? I did this a couple times and the wheel kind of moves around a lot and I can't tell when it's supposed to be locked into place?

Hi, you swaped two different wheels, If you noticed, they have half a number out of date. How did you solve it when placing the dial? please I hope your help

@@isaiah9683when he tried to turn the crown so the date changes, rather than changing to a solid date, it clicked only halfway. So it was in between 2 dates I think

Nope, sorry. The 7s26 date won't work well with the NH36 Movement. It might fit, but it won't line up right on the dial. On the bright side, you can use the 7s26 date wheel on the NH36/35 without any issues.

me too! I was just about to start building a watch last night and the dial had a smaller hole than the nh34 movement. I also only have three hands so hopefully everything works out.

I'd recommend taking out the movement first to play it safe and keep the dial and hands intact. I didn't do it the first time, and ended up bending the hands by accident.

Typically, a pilot bezel features a small indented section where you can attempt to gently pry it out. To accomplish this, you may need a slim knife and a watchmaker's hammer. The precision of the prying tool is crucial for removing the bezel with minimal to zero scratches. You can check our video on how to remove the bezel.

No, 7s26 has only 21 jewels and nh35 has 24 jewels.

I am attempting to replace the insert on my Hamilton SCUBA, but getting the correct measurement is very difficult. I have tried a caliper but cannot get the same measurement twice. Any suggestions?
