I was finally strong enough to start on my journey to get clean and sober 10 years ago and face my stepfather for molesting me and my whole family knew what he did and they pushed me away because he was dying of cancer and my mom was to upset to have me around. I guess my getting help was triggering them like you said. This Nov 9 years clean and sober.
