This sounds so crazy but I really want to buy that lamp statue at the 46:33 mark...LOL..LOL... I wonder how much it would cost If I could find one from 1951 that's in good shape and still works? ..LOL..LOL....

The funniest line in the move so far?...."Yes, but Broadway's gone to pot." And it's a 1951 Broadway prediction that's sadly become so true nowadays. Broadway now has extremely overpriced tickets, legalized ticket-scalping and insane ticket hoarding/reselling practices by the good ol' Ticketmaster Corporation, and the insanely high parking prices at most shows, and way too much personal politics and agendas at most venues...that's even IF you can even get the tickets. ...Yeah. Broadway's not soaring like it used to be.

The citizens provided true justice. When law is unjust then its lawless. That's exactly what we have right now. We need true justice according to the constitution and the Word of God again

At the 31:09 mark, "You haven't been well, have you?"..."Hell, naw, I ain't been well. I'm paying you 30 thousand dollars a month for nothing and I'm getting absolutely nothing in return for my money. You're legally robbing me and cleaning me out" is what he should have said. LOL..LOL..

The gowns here are incredibly cool. Classy, sleek and elegant. The wardrobe staff here for this film was making it happen, big time!

Wow. A young Eddie Albert, from Green Acres T.V. show fame, is in this movie! Just 14 years after this movie was made, Eddie Albert would hit it super-big again but on television. Green Acres ran on television from 1965-1971 and was then heavily syndicated in reruns all the way up until the early 1980's. Cool.

In case if anyone is wondering...2,500 dollars a month in 1951 is roughly like getting 30,000 dollars a month in today's money!...LOL...No wonder he was so upset at the judge! I would've been, too. ...LOL...But the money hemorrhaging in the courtroom didn't stop there. By talking back to the judge, the judge fined him another 100 dollars, which in today's money is roughly about 1200 dollars.

Some of ya'll will accept just about anything. It's pitiful. The quality of this video has nothing to do with how old it is. We've all seen movies as far back as the 30s and 40s that were crystal clear. The bottom line is that this taken from a poor quality source or poor quality capture process. Period. It should never have been uploaded in this condition. It's moving mud.

If anyone has ever been the victim of a crime & then waited & watched as the LAW is manipulated to uphold the rights of the perpetrator again & AGAIN, you will understand the raw emotion of this town as it's depicted in this movie. I read this book MANY years ago. It was chilling, haunting, revolting as to what these townspeople endured!! This movie BARELY scratched the surface!! A TRUE story, this reign of terror & intimidation lasted YEARS & was far more intense & sadistic than what is even hinted at in this movie!!

Skidmore. The mans real name was Ken McElroy. This movie is a drop in the bucket of what and his trashy family did to the whole town.

The whole of England feels like that little town must have felt . We are being stabbed ,rapped , locked up for speaking out , it goes on and on and the law does nothing but work for the evil that has infiltrated our country . They took all our guns years ago . Just saying .

Oh! this is a marvelous movie of the great star-actress, Betty Grable. An hilarious story of Betty (Delilah) feigning amnesia when she suspects her husband of cheating on her with his female backer of the hit show they are working on. Due to overwork on the show, the couple seem to be drifting apart with little or no time for romance. Delilah feels more like a product than a human being from the way her husband keeps sidelining her and putting off overtures. The opening song and dance number 'Meet me after the show' is not to be missed. With that pink and white dance costume and matching head-dress, our resplendent Grable girl reinforces the image [drop-dead gorgeous] that made her a lasting icon in the Hollywood firmament. Color by Technicolor is pure fantastic. Betty's gowns will bring out the oohs and aah s from cinegoers. She was Fox's highest-paid star for 12 long years and minted money for the studio. When Fox tried to plug Monroe with first billing in 'How to marry a millionaire', they had to hang their heads down in shame, when reviewers claimed that it was our Betty Grable who walked away with all the plaudits, giving a sparkling/scintillating performance.
