My guess, FWIW, is that Lily will accept a call up to the Netherlands national team once she has her citizenship. (She has applied.) Honestly, I think that might be better for her in the short term. She's likely to get more playing time on the Dutch team. But I think she might regret that decision in the longer term. She would likely develop into a very prominent role on the US team as Horan and Lavelle exit and new midfield stars enter the picture.

For the 2024 Summer Olympics, if Emma chooses 6 defenders and 6 forwards (Jaedyn and Cat also play midfield), it might come down to Sam Coffey or Korbin Albert. Between the two it's a toss up: Lindsey, Rose, Sonnett and Sam/Albert. I don't know Lily Yohannes.
