Hi, I have two 120ah leisure batteries that are charged from solar and a split relay. Guess they say it as it is intended to be used while camping, though you can use it wherever you want really

@@ingalway if you kept the wattage low on the hobs, probably. They are a maximum of 800w each so that is 1600w total so a 1000w inverter will struggle

Are these profiles screwed onto the original mounts in the Renault? By how much has the height of the car increased? Can you still enter parking lots with a height limit of 2 meters? Thank you for any response!

Yes I bolted them onto the roof mounts for roof racks, height is still quite low, I have got into car parks with restrictions of 2m but thats with all camping gear in the back so the van could be sitting lower

Love it, we use it often for boiling a kettle, steam veggies, cooked some steaks on a frying pan. Has done everything I have asked of it so far 👍

I did till I finished my DIY mountain board, the GTR just didn't have the power for the trails I do unfortunately. But yes these slingshots stayed on there, very strong. Just had to use angled riser pads to adjust the pitch to make them comfortable

THANKYOU I have an indoor - Aldi induction hob single that goes upto 2000. We love to fry chips I do them on 1400 so experimenting at 800 to see if it can be done before purchasing this ;-) for home and away. I will be using mine with an ecoflow delta 2 with 110watt solar. I have that coffee strainer from temu it’s great.

We added one to a whitewater kayak we found for £40…it was, as you can imagine, hopeless on a river before…the results were absolutely incredible! It’s fast tracks, still steers fine and was so good…I’m adding a small one to my sundance 9 footer this year for coastal Brittany paddling..

Are they led acid batteries? If so of the 240 amp hours you have, you can only drain them 50% so you have 120 amp hours usable

If I remember right they are a gel hybrid setup can't remember the full term. I currently have a 1500w inverter which can do 2000w for a short time. This set-up is lasting well on days out, though I now have another 200w solar ontop of the 100w I currently had

You need big sensor and pixels for quality, go for full frame or at least APS-C and use fast lens. Cheap camera isn't best option, image will be grainy and noisy.

I have one of these cheap no name brand gopro cameras and its been sitting in my cupboard collecting dust. I was looking to purchase one that has already been modified, then figured I'd see how hard it was to do myself. Hence how I came across this video. Thought to myself, no way it's that easy but, boy was I wrong 😂 so thank you for this simple tutorial.

Sorry, i cant remember. This hob unfortunately had an accident a while back with a bottle 🤣🤣. I am currently using the induction hob from outdoor revolution, which you can adjust from 100w to 800w per side or you can select the temp. I did shoot footage of this i just havnt had time to make vids at the mo

@@lewtube1136 thanks for the reply. I'm also looking at the outdoor revolution one too. Intact it looks slightly better having a timer and space for bigger pans. Do you know if that one cycles on and off on lower power settings? Thanks

@@welshnutterz trying it now for you. I would say the outdoor is much bigger, you can get two large pans on it is really half a regular kitchen hob, it does however ha e a smoother surface so pans can slide a bit on an incline, have water on boil, yes it comes on and off at lower settings, so more to keep things warm really

@@lewtube1136 that's great, thanks for doing that. I think it's probably the one to try. I have read of peeps using think heat proof silicone pads or grease proof paper between the pans and hob to stop slippage.

@@welshnutterz ill try that, cheers. I do like it over the vango the size makes it more functional for me and there is more flexibility with the settings. I have been using it through the summer and its been great. Just remember to keep it protected, it was so easy to crack the vango, only down side on these induction hobs i think

It works really well, since this vid i have now added a 200w solar to the roof. This is all i use and need. All o will say is they are induction and have a glass surface, i did break one with a bottle falling on it so keep it safe 👍

well my filter was placed on top of the sensor (not the lens) and i broke the camera trying to remove it. don't be stupid like me and only try to do this mod if the filter is attached to the lens, so you don;t damage your camera

@@lewtube1136 If upon removing the lens or lens cap, you notice a black plastic frame surrounding the sensor, that's where the IR filter is mounted. This method of mounting the IR filter is also used in DSLR cameras.

😢 I'm devastated. I tried to tighten my now infrared camera and the LCD screen fukked up. But I had another Apeman A80 has a square power button. I tried to just switch lenses but when I turned it hard the entire lens fell apart its like 8 pieces.. Not blaming you mate. Its just that when I put the lens back on my old Apeman it was out of focus so I tighted it real good and got f-ed up.

Hi, i have only used this helmet for esk8 so as i can only get about 30mph on my board noise is not a problem. Helmet has worked well i have replaced it with the bell sanction now as that is better suited for what i needed it for

I dont do any trail running so i couldnt say how they compare to other shoes sorry, all i know is that they have performed well over wet grass, gravel, rocks.

Hi Lew, loved the video and the Tintern ride that follows, after having this helmet for some time now how are you finding it ? the same as you I've got Motorbike helmets and really want something lighter, with more ventilation, this looks good for the price, would like your thoughts on it if you don't mind. cheers

Hey bud, love this helmet really light so much ventilation on the hot days last year keeping me cool. Good visibility squishes the cheeks a little but is comfortable. Honestly dont notice i am wearing it
