@@azzbaster9823 it was quite bad! Took some time for my eyes to adjust to see the ball. I probably could have closed the shutter windows like the court beside us did.

thoughts on the blade 100?
@tenniswithaz2 ай бұрын
@@bentmj1404 feels a tad more powerful especially on the backhand and serves. Control and spin is still great though. It suits me better than the 98 v8 that I was using for a year plus. The swing feels a bit slower than the 98, but I can live with that.

Nice one! Did you guys use a special stand for the camera? Is the app detecting balls position by using two mobile phones or just one?
@tenniswithaz3 ай бұрын
I use a regular 1.7m tripod holding an iphone SE running the Swingvision app. It just uses the one phone to calculate an estimate of the ball speed and position, which in my experience is about 70% accurate

For your groundies, think about bending your knees to get more bite on your shots. Your shots are quite floaty now cos the power isn't there. You have a big frame, use it to your advantage!

Thanks for the advice! I'll keep that in mind for my next practice. As for the serves, I've been struggling with the racket drop and leading with the elbow. I think that's holding me back from increasing my racket head speed, but will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for watching!
@turbulenttennis4 ай бұрын
@@tenniswithaz the racket drop can be made deeper and improved if you increase the external rotation of the shoulder and supination of your forearm, and let the weight of the racket naturally drop by gravity into the drop position

For your serves, really increase the racket head speed when you're going to hit the ball. Your serves are pretty accurate, more power will do more damage!
