Principles of prayerful prayer Jesus used to pray alone, with the disciples and for disciples. Luke 11:1, Luke 22:41-42,James 5:16,John 6:8; List of the principles • First. Stay in the word of God. John 15:7, John 6:63, Isaiah 30:21. Romans 8:26. It will guide your mind.The word of must abide in us and instruct us how to pray ( we need to live and study God’s word); •Second. Obey God. Whatever we ask according to His will He will give us because we keep his commandments. Those who turns away his ear from earring the law, even his prayer is an abomination. Proverbs 28:9. • Third. Believe in God. Don’t have doubts of God.have faith in God Mark 11:23, James1:5 (don’t have doubt , believe that God cans do what need to be to be done ); • Forth. Pray without ceasing. 1Tess 5:17, Luke 18:1, Genesis 25:21,24,26; ( be persistent on prayer); •Prayer in the name of Jesus. ( the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is reason why, saints of blessed and sinners receive mercy and are still alive so they might have an opportunity to to come to God); Acts of Apostles page 564 paragraph 1 ( prayer is heaven’s ordained means of success in the conflict of sin and the development of a Spiritual character Counsels for the church Page 294, paragraph 2.
