how absorbent are they for post-shower drying w/long hair? thanks.
@JaneSeesTheWorldАй бұрын
They are very absorbent. They feel different than a regular towel for sure, but they soak up water just the same. And generally, they are bigger than a regular towel so there is more material for you to use.

Why share so everyone and criminals can see
@JaneSeesTheWorld2 ай бұрын
@@MaryLimon-u9b Well, a couple of the products I shared are effective even if the criminals know (e.g. bra and money belt). The other ideas may not fool everyone, but they could help prevent crimes of opportunity. They also are useful for dividing and conquering. If a pickpocket happens to get their hands on your wallet, they are probably not going to also get their hands on a random pad. You’ll be glad for some hidden cash.

October 1986. Walking the Khyber Pass from Afghanistan to Pakistan. My wife had a $100 bill on a safety pin inside the leg of her blue jeans. Humor. Around 2005, sitting in a conference on an insurance claim. Everyone wearing suits. Claimant is from Armenia. Adjuster looks at him squinty eyed. Can't believe the story that the claimant wasn't carrying a wallet. I reach into my suit jacket pocket and pull out handfuls of cash. The adjuster is dumbfounded. I explain that I have been to Armenia and you don't carry a wallet! If you are a man, have a button closure put specifically on your pants pockets.

This would help the long travel but not all airlines allow it. I could use it on Turkish Airlines but Asiana Airlines does not allow it at all anytime. I always wonder how high or low off the ground is best for sleeping?
@JaneSeesTheWorld7 ай бұрын
That is a bummer about Asiana Airlines. Thankfully, most airlines are still accommodating. To answer your question, I think it depends. I usually like it about 4 to 6 inches above the ground. But if you have shorter legs, you may need it higher. It all depends on what is most comfortable for you and your leg length.

Just came back from visiting my daughter, who lives in a tiny, tiny apartment in Boston. She and her boyfriend use Teema bath towels as they take up very little space in their bathroom. I was skeptical, because I am of the "terrycloth " generation, but I was totally impressed with how well they actually do dry you off post shower. Having extremely sensitive skin, I found these towels especially comfortable to use. I enjoyed your video,thanks.

Wouldn't the swinging movement annoy the person in front ?
@RealMuperSan Жыл бұрын
Yea, wondering same thing. I want it for the kids, but don’t want to bother the person in front.
@JaneSeesTheWorld Жыл бұрын
This is a question I have gotten before and I can understand your concern. If you were to swing vigorously, then yes, it will probably move the seat in front of you. But if you are slightly rocking a few inches, it does not pull on the seat. I have tested this out and have not seen any movement. Better yet, I have never had the person in front of my give me the stink eye. I actually feel worse about reclining my seat. That has a bigger impact than the foot hammock.
@JaneSeesTheWorld Жыл бұрын
I cannot provide any insight into kids using this product. As an adult, I do not use it in a way that bothers the person in front of me. But kids are a whole different ballgame :)

In your opinion, do u think the hammock is way more comfortable than the footrests airlines have built in already for their economy seats ? Such as like turkish/singapore
@JaneSeesTheWorld2 жыл бұрын
Oh dear! I completely missed your question. I apologize for my delayed response. I like the hammock a little bit better because it is adjustable and you can subtly swing your feet if you want to. However, built-in footrests are also nice.

Hi great channel!! I'm mostly concerned about hiding my larger cellphone-- Where I'm heading, I hear thieves sometimes demand your phone if they can see just the shape of it- Does anyone have any experience completely concealing it? I will have a decoy phone on me as well, but I want to keep the nice one for times when I'm maybe taking pictures... Also really active and love running, anyway to have it on me while running but something where it doesn't fall out?

Other than putting it into a purse or backpack, we do not have any experience completely concealing it. We haven't felt that need at any of the places we have traveled to. Good luck with wherever you are going! It sounds like it will be quite the adventure with a need like that.
