I worked in the radio broadcasting field for 30 years, starting in 1985. I remember playing this song on the radio. Sadly, it was a hit for only a short time. To non-80s kids, I'm sure this sounds like just another cheesy 80s love song, but it is actually an underappreciated classic from a time when love songs were truly passionate and romantic. Paul and Terri were great together. They should've collaborated more.

@@Heartboy1031What would have been difficult? I used rather simple language. I said I was in radio STARTING in 1985. I was in broadcasting for 27 years, so I was still doing it in '85. I'm sorry I was clearly unclear.

I liked the song then and still do. I taped the video of VH1 and watched it over and over just to look at Terri Nunn. She was gorgeous. Like Hoffs from the Bangles, just smoking hot.
