Please tell me, my audient id4 sound card has an xlr microphone input. Will I be able to use this recorder with such a card to record voice? i.e. the signal will go through the card to the computer in DAW

If it's an "XLR input" then it might just not work as that would be to add a mic or instrument into the device, well that's my thinking. However, if it's a port that outputs then you should be able to connect the recorder and record the vocals.

Considering getting a few of these for remote shoot with no power. How long do the batteries last at say 50%- are you using 14W or 26W?

When I plug into 1/4" TRS at the bottom from my mixer, the audio that's recorded is terribly clipped and super small waveform and quiet. It works fine when going to the 3.5mm line-in on the side, but then I can't use the onboard mic for crowd sounds. Not sure what the issue is or how to fix it. I bought this because it says it supports line-level input via 1/4" TRS Anyone have any suggestions?

With my information, you can't, you have to use the type of power in the lighting data, in a simple way, if you take 200W lighting, you should be able to use 14.8V, but you will have half the power, and you can use 26V and you have full power, but in 120W you can't use what's higher because you might have problems.

I have 2 v mount batteries that I use with the lights, one is 14.54v and the other is 14.4v. Both have been used on several occasions with no issues.

Good review, my only 2 issues with them is the lack of internal storage & noise cancelation... Other than that, it's good (not great)

Oh yeah they are definitely a "good" set of wireless mics. That lack of internal storage is a definite drawback but for me I don't mind there not being any noise reduction option, I prefer to do that while editing as I've noticed the wireless mics that have that option makes your voice sound weird and sometimes distorted. Thanks a bunch for watching.

Fan noise is a test I have yet to do, in addition I have not done an interview since having these lights. Bought these for wedding receptions so I did not even think to do that test. I'll be on the lookout from now though, thanks.

Ease of use gets a 17 out of 10, they are lightweight, compact, the bowens mount does not seem to be the strongest but I didn't buy it to use with softboxes.
