2:26 sorry if this sounds nitpicky but it’s really bothering me but Dazai and Chuuya became executives at the same age which was at age 16. The only reason Dazai was known as the youngest executive is bc he’s a few months younger than Chuuya.

@@Shell_Heart There’s no official confirmation of when Chuuya became a Port Mafia executive, but it’s reasonable to assume it happened after Dazai left. In the Storm Bringer epilogue, Chuuya is an executive, and Higuchi is present-she wasn’t part of the Mafia during Dazai’s time. It makes sense Chuuya might have filled someone else’s seat after Dazai’s departure, as Dazai’s vacant seat would still be unclaimed. Additionally, Chuuya’s absence during that period could align with the aftermath of Dazai leaving, which likely caused disruptions in the Mafia.

@@koushii._officialbut weren’t there five executives? Mori himself stated when he saw Dazai again that he left his seat empty for him. As it is right now, the five executives are the following: Chuuya, Kouyou, Verlaine, Ace (now dead, so there is one open seat) and Dazai (also open, because he defected, but his place is still unavailable to anyone who is not him).

Apparently I can’t read nvm ((i see the 2nd paragraph.)) but wasn’t Chuuya an executive first? Only by a few weeks, so when Dazai also became an executive, he took the title of youngest executive away from him because he was younger than Chuuya. And the reason this could be true is he’s the strongest ability user in at least Yokohama for sure, he's way more loyal than Dazai could ever hope to be, and he's far from stupid, if Stormbringer is of any indication. Chuuya had a very strong reason to acquire the title before Dazai: to have access to the documents regarding "project Arahabaki", documents that Dazai would have surely kept from him for some kind of leverage if he had become executive first. A drive like that made it so that Chuuya climbed the ranks faster than anyone could have predicted.
