I have done these before but I did mine with double crochet, 2 rows wide, and variegated yarn. Resembled the old fashion hard, ribbon candy. You could also make the loos all the same length which really would look like the hard cnd.

Hey thankyou for this tutorial. I'm facing a problem in expanding my heart. Maybe im not doing the right number of crochets in every stitch. Can you please help me with the pattern that will continue if i go on to expand it? Like if it was 16 double crochets in the previous round, will it stay 16 or get doubled? I'm really confused. Please help me out.

I'm new and did a small baby blanket as my first project and am trying to make a toddler size beanie and for the life of me I just can't get it. I've tried at least 10 times and struggle the whole time and end up with a ball instead of a circle and I can't distinguish the stitches to keep going. What am I doing wrong? 😭 Is it just more difficult being smaller? Mine truly is an unusable hot mess and I'm so frustrated. Am I the only one having problems?

the beginning and ending stitches have made me frog over and over. Can you give me some advice? if I start with white, and end with 1 stitch of white is that correct for first row? then chain two, skip stitch, do three of the same color stitches across, then at the end then chairn two then two of the same color? Do you have a written pattern? I am usually a visual learner ( left handed and mirror my videos) but I am completely lost. Help please!!

Hello there, I'm Cristina from Italy. I do like your explanation, it's better and clearer than many others, I've been watching so many tutorials during the last year, but in order to get a perfect pattern you should switch the colour just by one stitch and only one so everything would be just perfect with perfect diamonds on the pattern from where the argyle starts. If you switch by two or more like you did in the video, the pattern will look a bit confused, just a bit, but it makes the difference. I tell you this to share my experience and not because I'm better than you, I'm not better than anyone that's for sure, I'm not correcting you as a Karen 😅 but I've been trying colour pooling for so long (frustrating) time and there are now a few things that are very clear to me and this is one of them. If you try to pay attention to this you'll have the absolutely perfect argyle pattern. When you reach the third row the first of the three stitches must be switched by one from the last stitch of the same color two rows behind at the beginning and at the end. Sorry for my written English, I'm just trying to do my best 😁🤦🏽♀️ Thanks for sharing what you know and explaining it so well to us. Hugs from here to there 🫂
