Your argument for leaning Tailwind is actually an argument for learning css.

@@kristianfreemantx Yeah, I got flasbanged when you showed VS Code. Great video tho! Can't use Copilot unfortunately, 'cause I'm broke xd. Do you have any free recommendations? Ideally I'd like it to work with Unity C# code.

For screencasts, I use Ayu Light, and I disable as many UI features as possible - minimap, sidebar, all hints/autocomplete, etc. When I'm coding day to day, it looks a lot "messier" because I want the autocomplete hints, etc.

How do you get Copilot to show full code block suggestions from typing comments? My Copilot is only ever suggesting 1 line at a time, and no multiple suggestions. I have to hit Tab and Enter for each line which is extremely annoying.
@havocblast8737

Edit -> Copilot Suggestion -> Open Copilot. This will open a window that will give you what you are looking for.

Just write some code and accept a few suggestions, your big boy copilot will start feeling confident to show more lines for you

If you write a comment describing a task copilot will suggest code. I used this to help going from C++ to Python on the different syntax.

I have learned CSS. Should I learn SASS now or Tailwind? Please guide me!
@nithenbains
@nithenbains 6 ай бұрын
Go with tailwind .
@michelemoneywell8765
@michelemoneywell8765 12 күн бұрын
SASS. Or get better at regular CSS. How well do you know grid, flex, transitions, animations, using variables, etc. Or move on to JavaScript and React. Tailwind takes a lot of resources and clogs up the HTML with ridiculously long class names. It defeats the purpose of CSS -- keeping style separate from structure.
