You don’t. There are a few good ones out there but most don’t actually know or understand anything about the actual cars. Your service advises needs to be knowledgeable about the mechanics of the specific car. This almost never happens with females. Then we get bad service, attitude and (usually) lies when we ask questions.

I'm an advisor for a Nissan Dealership. have worked at other dealers over a span of about 15 years. If your store does not have DealerLogix then you need to start there. Our Maintenance CP numbers are through the roof, we switched from Xtime and not gonna lie, the best damn auto software ive ever used.

Thank you very helpful info. I work for a import dealership in the Texas region. The service advisor base pay plan is 11% gross profit however the pay plan can be maximize to 17% depending on CSI, ELR,LPC etc. If all the benchmarks are met. Is that a good pay plan in your professional opinion?

Well said. Generating revenue in F&I is critical and can only be accomplished by focusing on results, training and a strong, consistent process with a goal of turning every customer.
