Personally I think he's right on not needing 4 different base goku's but there's a better way to go about saying that they should take the raging blast approach of making characters then calling the game trash. You could just have 2, 1 from Z and one from Super and customize the blast stocks and moves from there. He is wrong in saying they fought differently, it was mostly the same with exception of a couple of strings.

Xenoverse 2 literally has multiple slots taken up by characters who use the exact same animation. (Goku especially) on top of that paying for a dlc that includes Bojack, which shares an animation with Omega Shenron, A BASE GAME CHARACTER

While I don't agree that people will stop playing Xenoverse, due to the things it does offer, if people enjoy the game, people will be playing Sparking Zero more. Xenoverse, Sparking Zero and Kakarot each have something to offer for that Dragon Ball gaming community, which will likely work in each of their favors. So while I don't agree people will not come back to Xenoverse, I do think that people will also be wanting to play sparking zero as well, and possibly more often. Sparking Zero gives us and gives us things that we enjoyed from the older Dragon Ball games and bringing back a lot of things such as what a scenarios and even story lines that take the story we were told into a different direction, even if it's just a what if scenario. Dragon Ball Xenoverse though not the perfectly crafted masterpiece that people would want, give us an original idea and concept, with an original story and a customizable protagonist similar to Ultimate Tenkaichi, what's new characters all together and opening the door for Dragon Ball to take more risks overtime. Things leading to original characters being created as a result. The same was said about Dragon Ball Heroes during its 13 year heyday. And Dragon Ball Z Kakarot gave us an open world Dragon Ball game and although mainly sat around retelling the Dragon Ball Z anime's portion, open the door to open world Dragon Ball games overall. So while I don't think Xenoverse will be the most popular choice, I do believe that each of the current dragon ball games each have something to offer that makes it stand out. I believe that people can enjoy both games, but I do agree that the real issue here is people not willing to give sparking zero a fair shot. Each Dragon Ball game deserves a fair shot before throwing jabs at it. Especially when it has something to offer that the others don't.
