When he announced this tour, I never would've expected it to basically be him solo, without a full band. I know the piano player is there. Curious if you think it was better this way? I can see it both ways, as with the band the songs would resemble the album versions more, but solo = more intimate and pure, and just more Chip, which is always good. Plus it saves a lot of money for him. I have to say, I'm really impressed, he has upped his guitar game a bit, and that's a lot of pressure to have on him. To sing, play, perform, and keep in time, all by yourself without a rhythm section is a tall task, and he's absolutely killing it.
