Helping everyone out: Tying clay bed braclets: 7/10. Goes kinda further Thick bed braclets: 4/10 because the string is usually thicker it goes in the middle of just tears Rope: 10/10 beautiful. No flaws at all. Very secure! Pretty sure on the climbing ropes in my gym they did surgeon knot

Actually that’s just the surgeons Knot. The double surgeons is 4 times around. 3 times is knot something surgeons use. Surgeons either do the regular surgeons knot(2times around.) or a double surgeons(4times around.)

I think this has been most informative but I have now watched 3 videos on this knot and everyone has passed the line through the loop in different ways ! so im thinking that like you say , maybe it doesn't matter which way the tag end finally goes through the loop. Please correct me if Im wrong . Thx

Best braid to fluorocarbon knot ever. The knot makes no noise going through the guides when done correctly. You don't even know it's there. Like it's one piece of line. Also it's small and very compact.

Volume is insanely low. I have it maxed out on my S4 and I can barely even hear.

Why not a surgeons loop? :-) Perfection loops are neat but they might strangle off the leader.

Hi Charles Normally the leader is connected to the fly line loop to loop. Most fly lines today come with a factory made loops as do most leaders. You can make a loop in the leader with the perfection knot. If neither has loops use the Albright Knot. Hope this helps. Stephen

i need to find a good knot to attach two lines together my leader line to my regular line just got a fly fishing rod and its my first time going out so im just learning all of this stuff .. is this the knot you want for the leader to the line?

If you want to kill the topeye of your fishing rod first use this knot. Now listen, i am not seeing this knot is not strong! Its just not fitted to bear a good result as leader unto a rods mainline.!

This doesn't help me when I'm trying to attach it to the line on my reel.

the only thing i dont like about this knot is its so big i use it all the time
