Reckless Assault is an old enchantment that is like 75 cents and I think pretty good. 2RB; 1 mana, pay 2 life, deal 1 damage to any target. The cost is a bit steep, but we can basically pay 1 mana to activate on each of our opponents turns

I’m actually playing Surrak Dragonclaw as my oil deck commander. Though he doesn’t necessarily help with oil counters, he makes the creatures all have trample and makes them all uncounterable.

I was considering to build her dwarf tribal with artifact pay offs. you will always get the 1/1s if you want them for skullclamp and other artifact card draw matters things, but you also get tribal card draw. it might not be ideal, but she has Dwarf as a creature type, so I wanna build Jeskai dwarves with some blink and artifacts

Maybe this is a stupid question but, so when a card that says "Exile this card and return it to battlefield" dies, is it exiled upon death? Or does it go to graveyard when it dies? Card Ex: Planar Incision

So for the card you mentioned that acts at instant speed removing the card from play to exile and back before any other game actions can occur. If I were playing planer incursion I would think about using it as a defensive card. Maybe an opponent is targeting your creature with a kill spell or it’s in combat and you don’t want it to die to blockers. By exiling it you are removing any effects targeting it and remove it from combat. Now there are a few black mostly cards that you can cast that will make it so a creature returns to the battlefield after it dies. To try and fully answer your exile question. Unless the card or effects states that it will go into or remain in exile the permanent that was temporarily exiled will go to the graveyard when it is removed.

I have been experimenting with ways to include some black cards that ping for -1-1 and proliferate with that as well. Mix that with some blue control cards and it might be a lot of fun

I run an Ur-Dragon deck myself and one card I can’t recommend enough is Dragon Tempest as a haste enabler that also burns your opponents for casting, creating or playing dragons I’ve used that card may times to end games as the dragon deals the damage so you can combo it with say skithiryx and kill someone with infect

I just built a Giada deck! As for new additions, I would say Three Tree City would be a fantastic land to add to this! Sigil of the Empty Throne is nice because of all the enchantments in this deck! Rootborn Defenses will double all of the Angels you have!

Ultimately, I chose not to build a Gisa deck. The limitation of only spawning a zombo once per turn made me go a different route for monoblack.

Fun deck! A couple of possible includes: Plaza of Heroes: acts as a Command Tower when casting Wolverine, once we have Wolverine, remains a Command Tower as long as he's out, and, if you run out of protection spells in hand, can give him hexproof & indestructible for 3 mana, tapping & exiling itself. Super useful land. Mage Slayer: An equipment that lets Wolverine deal his damage directly to defending player the moment you declare he attacks, a great way to get his damage past any blockers. Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar: You're attacking one opponent? Now you're damaging all of them! And since it's still Wolverine damaging them, that damage is doubled too! I would cut Niv-Mizzet, Visionary for Ral, Crackling Wit. Otter Ral, as I call it, gains loyalty for each instant or sorcery you cast, and the ultimate ability grants you an emblem that gives all your spells storm.

Wight of precinct six is a 1/1 zombie that gets +1/+1 for each creature in EACH grave yard. Sac it with ghoul caller gisa now you have 10-20 zombies on board. Reanimate and do it again

if I had any card at my disposal to build a storm deck I would throw in some suspend spells since they only cast at the end of their suspend timer meaning you can potentially create a much more explosive storm earlier in the game because you paid for these spells within a previous turn allowing for a much larger or flexible storm trigger

I base my deck on treefolks and plants, and I enjoy playing with creatures, but I've also found a nice synergy with lands that have cycle. Also, I still think it's worth adding bulk deletions of. I added some cards: Hew the Entwood, Splendid Reclamation, Bushwhack
