Current date and time box you are selected from hmi ELEMENTS section. If you will drag and drop from default tag table to the hmi screen then it will run as per vb script.

Yes it is possible to execute script automatically trigger after every 1 sec. You have to use PLC clock pulse for trigger script

Actually you are describing splitting one byte into two nibbles (not one byte into 2 bytes), but for me to point this out would be splitting hairs . This code should do it I reckon [code] L MB 9 AW W#16#F T MB 10 L MB 9 AW W#16#F0 SRW 4 T MB 11 [/code]

Really what I want is that when I read a mw in modbus that is hour minute it gives it to me in hexadecimal but I want to convert it to decimal with wincc rt professional, I put it in decimal but it doesn't give me the real time I would like to format the word so that it gives me the real time in decimal If from what you tell me I can get through it like this, it would be an achievement on my part. Thank you It is a generic device, in which I cannot manipulate the programming. The problem is that it gives me the time in hexadecimal on a MW. That is why the 1st byte of the MW is the minutes and the 2nd byte is the hour. Sorry if the translation is not good, it is done by Google.

In SIEMENS we have the standard block "CONV" by using this you can convert Hex to Decimal numbers. suppose after conversion you get result in mw50=1030 means MB49=10 and MB50=30.
