Disneyland’s Bayou has the same elements as WDW, Compared to the videos I watched from WDW, this Tiana’s character placements are spaced further apart & some cases in a different sequence. It appears the riders get wetter in CA DL than in FL. Thank you for sharing (& getting soggy.)

Slimey and gross, and built on lies. A disgusting costume splash shredding ride that flips off people who loved the original while being a disservice to Tiana while also having an embarrassing story. It sucks.

Nicely done. It gives the ride experience without getting soaked. The gentle rushing of the waters is relaxing for ASMR. I enjoy the water sounds, but I do not like water flume rides. I’m thankful this wasn’t a POV from inside the raft. (I caught you with Bob @ Berry Place 28 the night.)

Does the ride actually move at the speed you showed first? I could be wrong, but it looked to be moving faster at the ground level tapping. The accompaniment was perfect - light & airy.
@NeuroDivDisneyАй бұрын
It does actual spin at that speed. I didn't speed up or show down any footage. It's kinda deceiving when you're in front of it. But I think it's because it's a tighter circle than you're expecting. It's a recycled ride from the old Bugsland that used to be called "Flicks Flyer"

As a neruovdiverse myself, can i just say that this is perfect, beautifully filmed, has all the gud info for us nerds and all the makings of a great channel But this is the film they use in Floridia, I thought California has their own version, what happened to that version
@NeuroDivDisneyАй бұрын
Hi and welcome! We're so glad you're here! And thanks for the compliments! Ok, so we originally had "Soarin' Over California" when DCA opened and up until just a little while ago. Then all of a sudden, they decided to reshoot it because the original was done on IMAX film and was starting to look pretty rough. So when they reshot it I think everybody got "Soarin' Over the World" as the standard. But, if you want to check out the original, look here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5jGo3qefamgl7csi=mLiAOJ1PLniLQnSY

Love those purple trees. I watched the layover playing on the loop. Park guests seem to be ignoring the different scenes of the layover & just walking by. Were the explosive bangs fireworks ? 🎇. I wouldn’t stay in this area as long as you did.
@NeuroDivDisneyАй бұрын
Not gonna lie...it was longer than i normally stick around in that area! And yes, those were fireworks that were going off in Disneyland! they can be heard all over Anaheim! In fact there's houses and apartments right next to the Park. It's not like Florida where it's its own thing. If you look at a map, it's right in the middle of a city! Yikes!

I always been curious about the Halloween layover for DCA. I didnt know it was so purple and loud this layover was..... It's really neat to see it. My little one loves the color but is unsure about the noise. This is really helpful to help us prepare for going to the park when we go with the little one and to get a better understanding of what to expect ❤️. Thank you as always for the awesome high quality video and audio of the Disneyland resort and of DCA.

@Marr-in-MemphisАй бұрын
I am appreciative of your POV videos of both sides. The last time I rode Space Mountain in WDW, it jostled my back & neck. I jokingly said WDW needed a chiropractor nearby, to pop the riders’ joints back into place. Disney fans have advised me not to even try riding Matterhorn. You have shown me WHY that was good advice 👍🏼. It was thoughtful of you to vlog the inclusion of a wheelchair transfer, showing it IS a possibility for limited mobility riders.
@NeuroDivDisneyАй бұрын
So we actually refer to this ride as involuntary chiropractic work... Keep in mind that this footage has been stabilized so that you don't get seasick while watching it. Maybe I should post the original footage that isn't stabilized? I don't think people really appreciate how violent this ride actually is. I still love it, don't get me wrong. But I got to make sure my PPO is paid up before I sit down. That family was amazing! I sure hope they get a chance to watch this and enjoy it! Just like on Disneyland's space mountain, the track can slide out of a way to accommodate other guests getting on that have disabilities or limitations. It's a pretty cool thing to watch as simple as it is.

4:21 I love how after this drop the atmosphere gets so much creepier. The "Dead Men Tell no Tales" is something out of a nightmare. I love this ride!
@NeuroDivDisneyАй бұрын
Absolutely! I totally agree, and throwing in Paul Frees' voice adds to the ultimate creepy factor. There's nothing quite like 1960s Disney pirates... An effort to get me to not lie as much when I was a child, my father told me that the phrase dead men tell no tales was specifically made to warn children that their parents will kill them if they lie. Nothing like generational trauma brought to you by animatronics....
