I don't wanna be this guy but nobody out in this world buys one console to play exclusive games only. if that were true PC has over 3milion games Xbox Nore PlayStation can run so why not just choose pc, saying that PlayStation is better because of the games is stupid. Can I use normal gaming GPUs RTX 4080 in workstation? If I want to play games but sometimes also use my PC for work that needs hundreds of gigabytes of RAM so I was thinking if it is good idea to buy a workstation motherboard and then fill it in with gaming GPU/CPU (since they perform better with games) so that it would function like normal gaming PC but with extra RAM like 256 GB.

I have a workstation and have been disappointed by Threadripper’s lack of memory bandwidth. What’s the point of all those threadripper cores if they’re starving for data?

I have a 12700 and I have a great speed of 3600 MHz with 1 stick, and I get less fps drops with that in A2 compared to when I use 2 sticks of 3200. I get fewer stutters, so it's not just using 2 separate sticks where it always gives less stutters and drops; it depends on game optimisation. Also, in games where I don't see hardly any difference at all in stutters or drops using either sticks,I also noticed if capping to 100-60 a person can use 1 stick and hardly any stutters or drops will happen; their reduced a lot, so yeah, 1 stick is enough; it just depends on game optimisation or how the CPU handles it.
