A classic Williams Prokofiev-inspired march that could be yanked directly from "Peter & the Wolf" (in the best possible way, of course). The classic earliest version of a Williams cue with this same sort of Prokofiev-inspired harmonic language and thematic motivic nature is his march-like cue from Star Wars IV "Jawa Sandcrawler" found here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4DNZ5yimdh7jZY

“that violin line blows me away” you know what blows me away, firstly that JW wrote this ( and of course many others ) secondly that you transcribed it…. on my tax return, under profession, it states musician, I’m forever wondering what it should state…… sigh 😔

6:44 This would be straightforward and perfectly playable on Cello, but probably unnecessarily difficult in that range on the Double Bass. I think it's more likely he only wrote the runs in the Cellos, and the Double Basses are just playing the bottom note on the accented beat. I also don't think the G is being played in the third measure, it sounds like it's just still ringing from when the Cello played it on the first note of the run-it wouldn't've gotten muted because all the other notes are on the C string.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I think the English VA's just didn't give it the chance it needed. I am German and when I was little it was something me and my mother would watch every time on TV. The German dubbing industry is big and I think that is why I liked it BCS the VA's were doing a dang good job. But listening to some scenes in English I think both are just fine.

I like your B7#11 for measure 3, I think it makes a lot of sense such as the E# resolving down to a D#, but also the G natural in the horns as a b13 resolving downwards to an F#. The A natural 7 would normally resolve to a G# in an E major chord, but in this case, we resolve to the mediant chord of G(/B) in measure 4 instead, which is also a common substitute resolution. Further arguments could be that B7 is a dominant chord, on which it's common to have extensions of #11 and b13, and also which are commonly placed on measure 3 of a phrase. Maybe for measure 2 I would say we have a G#m/B with add 6 (E#) and sus9 (A#). The G natural (functionally an F##) is clearly a leading tone and could be notated as such or ignored. NIce video!
