Hey I was told for the ice pro to upsize a boot size so I wear a 42 but in this I’m supposed to wear a 43 Does that carry forward to the phantoms as well .? Like is it still there
@Ryhno411
@Ryhno411 21 күн бұрын
I actually felt the Phantoms for me fit more true to size. The Pro's were a little narrow in the toe box so it took longer to break in but I am a 45, ordered that in the Phantom and have been very happy with it.

Sorry you didn't make the cut, but glad you enjoyed the fan walk... its cool when you can bring a smile to a kids face.. BTW, I love your Rev'it 201 suit, I just got a 301 and love it.. but im looking forward to seeing you next year in Stock 1000.. Good luck man!! Question, I thought whatever made you qualify for a Supersport license would carry over to a Stock 1000 license as well?

Even though these boots aren't perforated like the Flow, is there any sort of airflow with them? The Forma website mentions some sort of air flow intake in these. Thanks for your video on this btw, I really appreciate it.
@Ryhno411
@Ryhno411 3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the question. I've never felt noticeable airflow on perforated boots personally but I will say these did not feel noticeably warmer to me than the previous Ice Pro flow boots. I have a pair of Flow Phantoms now so I'll be doing a comparison with them to see. I'll report back with my findings.

Great Video, however I feel you missed the 2 most important tools. Where is the Quality Air Pressure Gauge and the air pump? I will also state that as I have ridden more European bikes, a Torques set is critical. I would add Vice grips and basic maintenance items like paper towels, chain cleaning fluid & Brush, brake fluid, coolant & a hose for bleeding brakes. Last I think a flashlight or head lamp is important, but I guess you could use a phone instead. For my trailer i bring a few Standard sockets, and they are one of my most loaned out tool as people forget that you may need to maintain their trailer at the track. A bonus tool would be chain tool & impact wrench.
@Ryhno411
@Ryhno411 4 ай бұрын
I mentioned the air gauge at the end and flashlifht. As far as the pump, I was thinking specifically of items that would fit in the toolbox. I had considered all the things you mentioned but was trying to keep it contained to the toolbox itself but I agree with all of the above.

I think you did an excellent job because many people starting out have no idea of what to bring to the track. However, a lot of tools are not used, but the tools you posted are a good base, starting for anyone to get their hands on at an affordable price. It's always best to have it when you need it, rather than reach for it and it is not there....my 2cents....😊
