While this nicktoon is still popular in its own right, it never gets the credit it deserves Ren and stimpy did pushed boundaries of what was allowed on childrens tv at the time, but doug did this too, mainly by tackling serious topics in a subtle and effective way Something hey arnold would later do I think doug deserves to be just as respected as other nicktoons at the time

I remember listening to this guy Sunday nights. One gag he did was someone said to him that a bird pooped in his eye. Googie asked if he needed a tissue. The other guy said no, he's probably miles away by now. Very funny and amusing DJ.
