NO. CAT2, 3 and 4 were NOT Ethernet. Ethernet was first deployed on a thick yellow coax cable (10BASE5), then later a thinner RG58 coax (10BASE2) and only after that were CAT5 twisted pairs used (10BASE-T) Source: Me working many years in computer networking including 5 years at Xerox PARC, where Ethernet was invented.

You talk about 4K quality not quite as expected! Don't forget to see 4K you need a 4K TV to be plugged in to the device OR you need the network bandwidth to be able to transport 4K video across the network to the online devices that are receiving the video feed. As long as the video feed being transported is in 4K AND the receiving computer device has $K screen capable then they should see 4K! And one last thing...make sure you have a really good USB-C cable for use with this device if it is in "peripheral Mode" because quite often the USB cable supplied with the hardware is not capable of 4K video sending. I found this with Logitech and was extremely disappointed that I had to purchase a higher quality USB cable to use a Logitech camera in 4K quality, so the same might be for the Poly Studio

Thank you so much for your input about the 4K television and the USB-C cable. Those two are definite requirements to get the full 4K video experience with this soundbar. What soundbar/VC set up are you currently using?

What do you recommend for the usb c cable. I bought some from Amazon and although I ensured the specs were higher quality, it consistently disconnects, and I have to reconnect the cable for it to be seen again. Your input would be appreciated.

Great review. I have the older model and I noticed that the Achilles heel of of Jabra is actually the small Bluetooth dongle I replaced the dongle with another high range Bluetooth adapter that can get you around 100 m and it was night and day I stopped getting comments saying that I can't hear you or choppy audio

Help! I just bought a Jabra Evolve2 75 today and my client can still hear the baby crying at the background Hi, so I live in a 1 bedroom with my 2 year old toddler. I am working in the bedroom which I put sound panels on the wall to separate me with my toddler and I bought a Jabra Evolve2 75 as they say on KZbin even a blender beside you won't be heard by your client. My client said that he can still my hear my toddler crying. Why? Did I forget to set up something? Do I need to change some settings? What should I do? Thank you
