I’m so excited for you in this journey, Jenean! I know what a relief it is when you see the debt decreasing! I cancelled a subscription this week and consolidated 2 credit cards by paying them off with a signature loan at my bank which decreased the interest by 15% !!! We got this! You can do it! 🥰

What a wonderful haul. So much TCMC goodness. I use to get the subscription, unfortunately Shopify messed up my info and it was cancelled. I could of tried to get back on it, but with me trying to budget I decided it was something I didn't need (want...yes, but not need). Enjoy all the goodies. The stamp is so cute!!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. Very difficult time for you, but I'm glad you have some distractions to help you. Exciting Japan trip coming up for you as well. Thanks so much for sharing!! As much as I love hobonichi, I think I'm going with the A5 Common planner this year. It does not have the red on Sundays or the writing at the bottom. Take Care of yourself!!🥰

Thank you for creating this video series. I have subscribed. I just found you. I have also shared your video with someone i am mentoring. We are all in the same boat and learning how to be debt free. I do not have debt and i am building my own house as i have money from my paycheck. I buy the materials and set them aside until i have enough materials to complete the next step in the process. I will have a house built my way and no mortgage. It is taking some time,but it is worth it to me. It is a tiny house on wheels. I did watch all the way to the end, but i do not know what happens. I am new. I will also check out the other KZbin Lady you mentioned in this video. Again, thank you.

@@thebalancedplanner listened on my commute home! Great video! Full disclosure… I never understood the cash envelopes in this day and age. I would have a stationary one but I buy everything online. So I’d get the money out of the bank, save it, then put it back in again to buy something?? Seems like a lot of work especially since I’m working the same hours as my bank and can hardly ever get there…but I’m going to do more research and of course listen to your tips! 🥰 Wish there were “online” banking envelopes! 🤣

@kellys9584 Cash envelopes …so yeh …here is the deal with cash envelopes -it is shown that using cash can make the act of spending one’s money more real and if you have an envelope of cash like for food then when it is gone, it is gone❣️ However, especially after covid -it is not that convenient using cash like if you get groceries delivered-and with amazon-now one does so much shopping online. If you watch The Budget Mom Miko Love she shares examples of how she does money movement. And, I definitely work 9-5 pm and going to the bank 🏦 means Saturday trip. Not convenient. But Miko’s book is called My Money, My Way encouraging us all to find what works for us. And, she also often goes what she calls “cashless”. Tho, you can see her moving money around cash in and out of bank due to sinking funds which has got to be fun! There are paper trackers (i will show you on next video!) and instead of cash you can use the tracker to isolate the expense of that category and make certain you don’t go over your budgeted amount. Each category-you set a limit and try to stay under that limit. Whether you use cash to help you stick to your limit or a catagory like food tracking card (i wrote my expenditures on my monthly menu plan-and it is on my fridge as I am getting food delivered from safeway -my last grocery haul was actually $160 of food for $67 -it was so much food! I did a video but haven’t posted yet. Used Safeway Udeals and points system -which I have almost enough points to get $20 off my next grocery order! Like I totally think I have found THE way to save money on food!!! If you can be disciplined and stick to your budget catagory limits, you don’t have to use cash, you can be cashless! I will show you how soon! 🤗love 💗 Jenean

Whoo Hoo. New Stationery!!!!! There is a special kind of joy that comes with opening up a TCMC package!!!That pouch is lovely.Encouraged by seeing you picking up your Japanese practice again. Retired Cowgirl and her Cowboy 🤠 raised 8 kids in frugality all grown up, 22 Grand children, God is Good all the time ❤ fantastic video .... rewards dont do that bc you have to spend on your credit card to get that but you're in credit card debt. I called ~and~can you believe the woman’s name is Grace ?! I love ❤️ this ❣️My mom was a teacher who ended up with a cleaning business ~her house was always spotless~ haha mine is not so I think 🤔 she is approving of mine getting a cleaning makeover❣️ Grace came over in late afternoon yesterday and for $300 (i have to put in my budget! I did not plan for some extra expenses which is contributing to the argument for budget by paycheck-I am definitely trying!) My mom died on her lil sisters birthday so we went out to dinner at Cheesecake Factory (do you have in your area?) my Aunt loves their key lime 🍋🟩 cheesecake-and that cost about $425 (forgot exact amount) I am hanging in there -i did get up at a surprising early time 7:30 am as I am not that fond of getting out of bed typically -and i did the dishes that I didn’t do last night and tidied the kitchen. Thinking to do a bit of morning planning and then neighborhood 2 mile walk. Thank you so much for the hugs 🤗 it is so so wonderful to have you around 🤗💗Jenean

Sweetheart. ☹️ I am so very very very sorry. My mom died in pain, and it was extremely traumatic. I had a lot of trouble grieving. I hope you will keep reaching out for support, and that you are getting a lot of it. ❤❤

Oh my gosh! Thank you for sharing that with me❣️I do feel traumatized -i mean i handled it so well -her caregiver at one point during the night around 1 am said to me: “You can’t do this!” Just because I did momentarily lose it …but i argued (totally my nature anyway!) “Yes, I CAN DO THIS!!!!” And, I did. The next morning she commented on how tough I am. But, even though I handled it well during the process -i am now just so sad she experienced so much pain and i feel such guilt for wanting her to pass because of the the pain and now she is gone and I want her back 👼Love Jenean

I am so sorry for your loss. I was closer to my grandma than my parents and I lost her back in 2017. The grief in the beginning was unbearable but you survive and I promise it gets a little easier as time goes on. You’ll always miss her but the grief will lessen. Much much love! ❤

The journal prompt challenge was so unexpectedly making a big difference !!!! I don’t know if you saw the clip of the amazing boxes ! Instead of buying stuff I am paying just any kind of amount off my credit card debt /now I am getting used to not shopping and come to think of it -my hands are busy writing ✍️ not clicking on shopping !

I have a hard time with planner consistency too. I’m so tired after work. I need to start building new routines because journaling is helpful for our mental health and I love looking at my entries when I’m done! 😊

Kelly, something very magical is happening with my relationship to my planners ❣️ I think it took me 3 weeks of pushing and now they just feel like a part of me -an extension of me …very interesting challenge! @kellys9584 so many new habits - i have stopped starbucks, amazon, grocery shopping where i spend $200-300 in a week -i am being frugal -and i am cooking almost everyday after my early morning 2 mile walk -and I am sitting with my planners and writing in the evenings for more than one hour while watching television with my son…and i am being more adventuresome and doing something out of routine something everyday which is just putting a smile on my face despite the sad of my mom …and all you are just bringing me so much joy! 🤩 so thank you 🙏 💗🌸💗🌸💗Jenean

Hi Jenean, Lucy here! I havent seen the Wolverine/Deadpool movie yet. I definitely want to go with my brother to see it in the theatres! I just love movie theatre popcorn, its hard to resist for sure. 🤭I also gotta admit that I love some pretty bad drinks like iced coffee and soda, especially coke and rootbeer. Maybe I should try the challenge you did for diet coke to get me off of the ones im crazy about lol. I bet it was difficult so im very proud and happy for you to have accomplished that goal!! 🥰🥰Ill let ya know how that goes for me! Also, Id love some stickers if theyre still up for grabs! Good morning! It’s so good to see you this morning! It’s so hard to not snack at the movies. Soda is my downfall and I can’t help but have some when I have popcorn and at the movies it feels like you’re doing it wrong if you don’t have popcorn…. Sigh. But Deadpool and Wolverine was spectacular so I’m glad I did it. 😂 I would love to snag that notebook. But if someone else comments after me, I’m happy to let them have it. 😁 I hope you have a good week! I emailed you last Saturday because I was sad I couldn’t make it to your journal meetup and I wanted you to know I was thinking of you then.
