Thank you for this! It was not only informational but very validating and inspiring as well. I’m a first timer, and I am so here for this kind of content! Found this through a random search for authentic marketing and this was on point! Appreciate you both.

I agree. I see AI voices making mistakes with intonatination and emphasis. That makes a great illustration of the rounding off of human sensibilities and cues in communication. I don’t want my brain to lose those expectations for those nuances in language. I wouldn’t want children to grow up exposed to that loss in their language. Language is human. Thinking is human. We are social. We need human society. How much less frustration and pressurization would we have in the world with human CSR rather than menus?

It’s nice to hear the discussion about smaller scale. A lot of the time, brand management discourse assumes you want to achieve supremacy in a given industry whereas I think most people just want to work on a product they care about and deliver it to likeminded people.

Great episode, Chris! It's always exciting to see a passionate founder like Andrew and hear how many "pivots" he has had to make. Too many people think that there's only one path to start a business or develop their idea and Andrew proves them wrong. Also fun to see you in his home and do the cupping.

Thanks! It was a lot of fun to do, and the coffee was delicious! A big part of why I wanted to do this episode was to show just what you described - a passionate founder and his story. It's not a traditional path, but it's what makes this episode special.
