Such a RARE experience to see / hear now a days! : ) Sooooooo Up-lifting !!! Thank-you so Much for sharing ... & yes, CARING means SHARING ! I appreciate the both of you Sharing your Life Story & Showing people that they '''can''' do this : ) I also ''agree' that more Hot Dog carts will mean more money BUT ... What a fun interview. You have done so much good for so many people Ben. Over the years I have appreciated you so much and the encouragement you have given me and others. It has been five years since I have done any real vending because of health issues in my family and I am needed and now being a grandma is the biggest thing in my life. I have an eight year old grandson who has been touched with the bug helping me with the little I have done. I am designing a lemonade stand for him and will get it built here in the next little while. I am still working on my latest concession trailer and will send pictures when done. Thanks for being you.

@bryanpearce44402 күн бұрын
No one said vending is easy. Some people find a great spot right out of the gate, and others have to look around. I would suggest you not commit a whole year to a location before you know how it will produce. Remember hot dog carts and food trucks are mobile.

@@BensCarts Thank you very much. I had been praying to the good Lord, 🙏, to help me find my way. I had been working for a game room. I made great tips, but the boss, well let's just say was challenging. I quit, after 4&1/2 years. I loved my patrons, loved the work I did and what I brought to the table. I was pushed too hard. So for the past month, I've been praying the good Lord would find favor for me and open a new door he knew I could handle. I started noticing a flood of your segments on my, you tube. @@BensCarts I'm happy for them that they can, but it's very frustrating for the rest of us that the code is interpreted so much differently from inspector to inspector and county to county. Another great video! I've got a chili question. Making chili on a cart here in WA state may not be possible because of county regulations. I think you have said in another video that it is best to use canned chili. We tried the Hormel No Bean hotdog chili but it's not very good. Where can we find good quality canned chili or do most vendors make it on the cart or at their commissary?
@BensCarts4 күн бұрын
Most buy and make it their own by adding some things to it. I used for 10 years... Chili Man's chili. Vegetarian. It's won 3 world records in chili cook-offs and doesn't have meat. Nowadays I use a basic SamsClub chili and then add garlic, Gochujang sauce and celery salt.
