Congrats Jason! Very nice bird and taken the traditional way. Flintlock hunting for turkey is fun. I have taken my last my last 9 Spring gobblers with a flintlock. The one I shot before that was with a longbow. The reason I stopped using a longbow was that I missed too many with it. I built a smoothbore flintlock and have used it ever since and love it. You still have to get the birds in close with the flintlock.

Why would you not want a sd card?
@ALL-In-OutdoorsАй бұрын
@@buckrockerm In my personal opinion, 99 % of issues with trail Cameras goes back to memory card issues. Haven't used cards in 3 years now and never looked back.
@buckrockermАй бұрын
@@ALL-In-Outdoors not sure where you live but in my area the most common issue is water intrusion. The second issue for me is bad batteries. Weird but I have been getting nearly dead lithium batteries. I have two dedicated memory cards for each camera. This help stopped memory card issues. I run over 20 cameras about 8 months a year.

@@buckrockerm I ditched lithium batteries this year and went with all solar or the Moultrie Lithium Ion Rechargeable batteries. Been awesome
@buckrockermАй бұрын
@@ALL-In-Outdoors might be a good idea with the cost of lithium. My Moultrie cameras use rechargeable batteries. They do great until temperatures drop into the teens.

I had a young buck do this to me in my ladder stand last season. It walked all the way around the tree, and even walked between the ladder and the tree before rubbing on a sapling a couple feet away and finally walking on off. He smelled everything I had touched and even where I had "let nature call." Never acted spooked at all! I got it all on video.

Why use red arrows and red fletching? When arrow/blood sign is so important, you need to use white wraps with all white vanes. No red. Bowhunting 101.
@ALL-In-OutdoorsАй бұрын
@@stephenmanukas7601 I must of missed bowhunting 101. Thankful you were here to help me out. ;) I guess a million people who shoot Carbon Express Maxima Reds must of missed the class too. Lol. As far as red fletching, I use 2 red and one white and seems to work extremely well. Never once in the 100's of animals that I've shot with my bow did I once think, "Man, if I didn't have these red arrows it would be easier to see the blood on my arrow." 😂
