I saw this episode in 1992 when it was released. I was a boy of 14 and it moved me deeply. I was overwhelmed with sadness when it came out. I didn't know why then. But I know why now. 30 years later, my wife laid to rest, the songs of our life are only a thing of memory. Our children a product of love and affection. And even if I explain the depth of our love and meaning of our overcoming struggle... no one will ever hear more than a song sung on a flute of a memory past. A life taken for granted. A a love so true, if I explained it to you, you wouldn't've believe me.

Thank you for the beautiful play. I really like your harp. Could I ask the sheet from "Music for Worship and Weddings Vol 1" can be played with a 36 strings(C2-C7) lever harp?

Thank you for the lovely comment. The arrangements do go below C2, but I think the larger issue would be the accidentals. The pieces are really designed for pedal harp, and I think they would need quite a bit of adaptation. You're probably better off trying to find a lever version of the selections!

One of my favourite bits of music from Star Trek, this and the theme to First Contact :) Did you ever get to learn it on ukulele? I was googling tabs for it and found your post on Ukulele Underground.

Jay Chattaway says in a podcast that of all his tunes, this one is the most frequently played, notably at weddings and more often at funerals. Captain Picard is knocked out by an alien probe which transmits a beam of information to him while he is unconscious and he lives out a life on a planet which had been destroyed thousands of years ago. He wakes up after 20 minutes later and discovers none of it had been real and that he had lived a whole life under the influence of the probe in 20 minutes. A tin whistle is used in the episode because the inhabitants of the planet were metal workers and this is in memory of them. This tune sounds especially poignant on the harp.
