We just got done putting one of these into a customers 99 mustang that originally came equipped with the mighty 3.8 liter v6 that apparently had an argument with its rotating assembly and really pissed off one of the pistons because that mofo kicked out the block and left. It was one of the best ways I've ever seen an engine fail😅.

@@TBsGarage I haven’t even unlocked the potential of this system. Was worried about the ticking from the lifters. I hopefully with the help from a buddy, might have figured it out. But yeah I would do it again

I find it very hard to put a perfectly good running reliable carburetor on the shelf and drop 2k + Chinese problem making junk that doesn’t run as good as a carb on my motor 😂😂😂.Long live the flathead screw driver.The sniper or aces or anyone other EFI will not out perform a carburetor.

@@joshuagarvey9362 fake News. I didn’t put a carb on the self. It was EFI to start with. All I see is closed minded thinking here. How much stuff do you have and buy that comes from Chy-Na? I’m sure it’s more than you will ever admit. We can’t escape it, thanks to our government. It’s about weeding out the bad Chinese stuff from the good. Not everything is bad. I researched this system for a while, and was surprised to learn how good it was. Stick with carbs if you want, that’s fine. Simple minds like simple things. Nothing wrong with that.

I like your POR-15 work, specially after the second coat! It’s not about making it perfect, I truly like a car meant to just enjoy! But then you went ahead and fabricated that kick ass rear cover 😮! Im jealous of the 💯

Looks great! No problems opening the Eastwood rust encap can many times. You know you can paint over that non-uv rated stuff to protect it.

Damn it, Funky...I'm all butt-hurt now about the battery in the rear comment...and will now unsubscribe. Ha ha, just kidding. My car won't be doing wheelies, but is going to handle like it's on rails. At least that's the plan. I do agreer about the monster tach, though 🙂

That “lifter” tick sounds like my old 289… it surfaced after running it REAL HARD one night.. chased it for months (rockers, lifters, pushrods ect).. it would go away, then show back up At different RPMs… discovered it was a valve guide…

@@joshroddey7320 I don’t even what you’re talking about. 🤣 I lived in Fort Lauderdale for a few years. I know what heat is. Funny thing is, there was always a daily down pour. Ya thought it was ice on the road the way they drive. I also never had AC in my truck when I lived there. Never complained. Also I lived in central Georgia, so I know what hot stagnant air is too.
