I have a 3 year old sniper. I’ve always had issues with high idle and ramp down/ spring tension on butterfly issues. Also my hyperspark on 351w gear placement was too low and ate two gears before putting hei back on with no problems. That being said I still prefer it over a carb and probably should just have it tuned professionally.

The Holley Snipers have the ECU on the throttle body. This Aces systems is like the Holley Terminator X Stealth system where you get a throttle body like this one and a Terminator X ECU where it mounts away from the throttle body. The only thing is that the Terminator X is not weatherproof. If you want that you'll have to step up to the Holley HP which is a way more expensive ECU.

Mine popped a code after first start up to. I think it's from phasers not getting pumped up full at start up. Clear and move on, See if it then pops back up . Every single thing that you went thru I went thru, Also I was NOT doing new trans lines because mine leaked too. CHOP and put 1/2 trans hose on line and never worry about those alum connectors again 30 bucks for hose and clamps and done. I have pics on FB how to cut the rubber hose alum crimps off factory hoses and slide on 1/2 hose DONE, When you cut off factory alum crimps and pull off hose you will now see factory bulges in factory metal pipes. I slide hose over those bulges and put hose clamps on other side of bulge and that LOCKS hose on so it can't blow off. Also get rid of the short steel metal line and short rubber hose that goes to cooler just run hose from factory line to cooler with hose now,
