Hello, if the CCTV supports SD cards, there is no need to record in a computer.

The IP mode seems to work only for internal IP. I forwarded port 3000 to 3011 and tried to connect from my home to the office and I keep getting "offline/network error". At the office, I'm able to connect but I cannot view the video. I can take pictures though.

Form ip you can only access in local network. If you want to access video from other network you should add by p2p connection.
