It goes even further because the Universe is but a projection of the imaginary guilt we felt when we thought we left God. Luckily it was only a dream and our way back is but an inner journey, a journey without distance. ✨🖖🏻

One thing I will never overcome is the robbery by religion of morals, empathy, forgiveness, love of one's enemies, honesty, etc. It's highly ridiculous to act and talk as though religion has ANY responsibility for the existence of these natural human traits. When the fictional religious characters, such as this Jesus, are mentioned in any philosophical talk, or any of the religious nonsense is gone on about, from my perspective the speaker loses all credibility. Utilizing religious fairytale stories as examples is one thing, but talking as though any of it is real is completely gullible ignorance. These days I'm almost offended for the human species by religion and people speaking of their religion. As if people can't easily research and learn the truths of the plagiaristic religious texts and the origins of their fake religion. It shouldn't bother me, but it's especially bad when someone that's supposed to be a highly intellectual philosopher continues to reference characters and events that were never real as if they are.

How can you say for a fact they were fake? Is that not arrogance in its own sense
@shaneh10035 күн бұрын
@@wherecreativitydies Simply historical facts and evidence.. Do you really need me to prove it to you? That's the entire problem.. Gullibly believing in made-up stories instilled by fear, lies, and brainwashing because of ignorance without researching to see where it all came from outside of religious text. It's the same with politics, although not as extreme as religions.. I'll share just one link to help you out for the most common religion in my part of the world.. it's only a tiny sample of the massive amounts of factual information available that anyone can access to show how ridiculously fake religions are. I was raised in church and always knew it was a load of fairytale lies, but it's been great to find how right I really was.
do you have to put the annoying ambient music behind for this lecture? absolutely hate that shit.

Ah, Alan Watts talking of Carl Jung's work. I have love for both of these now-passed-on men. You could say they were smart, but not in the ordinary sense. They managed to think outside the box, yet inside another's box, just so that they could help the boxed-in thinker out of their tight box. Just like ancient shamans who deliberately took in the illness or malady of the client, so that they could show their client how to heal from it. I love this!

Can you help me please,.. My Darkside is less apparent. I would definitely have to work on it,... Self help I think. Become who yu are afraid to become.Be a Monster!!! Light side is a pussy in the world gets pushed around looked over left behind holding the door open. Light work, no respect. Just taken for granted that's when my light side say f that. Goes Gangster mode... But I still don't know if that's my dark side or light side pissed off?
@areyousirius_2 ай бұрын
I would suggest you to take a moment to just put a side the ideas about yourself, about dark and light, good and bad, right and wrong, and just be with yourself in silence. Terms like "dark side" or "light side" a lot of times are used with so many different meanings and ideologies behind them that can be very confusing. Thats why i put energy whenever i can to find the true meaning about those terms in my own experience. Try not to be so harsh with yourself if you feel uncomfortable in that silence, its something understandable in the times that we are living, but you can find your way. I wish you the best of lucks😉👍👍👍

@@areyousirius_ @areyousirius_ I got divorced earlier this year, after 23 years together. As a kind of protective measure I've thrown myself into books and learning. The nights are long, the days still painful, but I'm certain that this will be an important stage of my personal development. I'm a student of Life, even in my 40s, and we should always remain teachable. Great videos like this affirm that notion, so thanks again. Love, Kit.
