An unneeded video of life imitating a parody of art performed by self-absorbed fools that would surely die of starvation if left to survive on their own.

I would very much like to sit in that nest. In the rain with Peter and have a chat. Humble, honest and fine man.

Everything about this incredible human being seems nothing but brilliant 🤷 ~ just look at the way he reacts when it starts raining and snowing in the midst of the interview ~ his smile at 3:47 is so heartwarming and sincere ❣️~ it says so much about his natural demeanour, his state of mind & generally what he loves about life, which is the fact that you never know what happens from one moment to the next🤔💁‍♂️

Is there a reason why this man was required to fight his way through a wheat field in order to find a place to sit down? Or was this his own idea? Love Peter's definition of 'World Citizen'. Should be taught in every Kindergarten and then repeated throughout the rest of the Education system - in every country. Unfortunately, brutal nationalistic territorial conflicts continue. Despite all humanities advances - we don't seem to have evolved very far... I'm sure what is currently happening in Ukraine would have saddened Peter immeasurably. We can only hope that it is resolved as quickly as possible. I've always felt a sort of 'familial connection' with Peter , and don't know why. My own family has Dutch, Russian, Jewish, Portuguese origins - so perhaps there's some vague link somewhere back several centuries ago!? In any case, my own parents migrated to Australia, and because I looked 'vaguely foreign' and had masses of curls, local children used to shout "Abo"! {Aboriginal} at me - which they thought was an insult and to which I would reply proudly "Yes! I AM!" And laugh and run away. Just to mess with their heads. Perhaps the real connection was this sense of belonging no-where in particular - but also everywhere. Such a brilliant engaging man. A sad loss when he left us - but WHAT a far reaching Contribution.

Who created the universe ? I recommend reading the Silmarillion by Tolkien, I think you will quite like it. According to that story, the earth was created in a song, sung by the Valar (the gods). That's why we hear music everywhere on earth, in the water, in the wind ...

As a professional drummer and seeking artist myself, Peter has been an enormous and very positive influence on my life. It’s terrific seeing him in this very personal happy spot, clearly a power spot for him - yet maintaining that good old weird humor he’s had all along (forging ahead with the ‘interview’ through the storm… Continuing the interview unshaken, sitting in a nest…)

Dear Peter...I entered the World listening to your vocals (the 70's) as my Father always played Carpet Crawler's...and my hope would be to leave the World someday also hearing your vocals singing the same song ;) Peace, Kat

@Fine Art Biblio - Awesome interview-thank you for sharing it! To answer Peter's question "how to leave the world a better place than the one you entered?" Great question and I wish I had the definitive answer; however, I might suggest... -Take child-rearing very seriously; -At least occasionally think of people in 3rd world squalor when you turn on a tap; -Be kind/share; -Pray/meditate; -Listen to music; -Look inward occasionally and look within for contentedness; -When someone annoys/offends you, consider what personal hell they live(d) in to treat others badly; -Consider that if one is confronted with conflict/war that though we may be used as instruments of our leaders, as the great Karl Jaspers said we are ultimately responsible for our own actions and thus guilty of crimes committed at our own hands. I know... easier said than done, right?!
