@ShoaibAhmedNZ or any muslim here - I'd like to invite you to a friendly online discussion with me about this topic. It's usually more productive, shows that you can put your money where your mouth is, and will expose holes in the arguments faster. So, any brave muslim brothers or sisters, please come forward.

This argument is based on very poor comprehension of language. Quran is only in the Arabic with 114 chapters and 6236 verses. Translators do their best to get to the nearest meaning based on their ability. That is just a nature of translations, especially when you're going from Semetic languages to western. If there is a disagreement one can always go back to the original Arabic. Muslims use the verses in Arabic for their prayers, exegesis, gaining understanding, deriving rulings etc. The case with the Bible is totally different. Christians can’t even agree on what the Bible is. 66 books (Protestants), 73 (Catholics), 81 (Eastern Orthodox), 88 (Ethiopian). Even for the same denomination, KJV has verses that is not present in the other versions (ESV, NIV, NASB etc.). Oldest copies of the Bible has books that no Christian accepts in their cannons today - Epistle of Barnabas and the Shepherd of Hermes. There are wide scale additions that were exposed when the Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus were discovered - Mark 16:9-20, Acts 8:37, the Trinity verse 1 John 5:7, Story of the Adulteress woman ... to mention a few. Arguments presented in this video is ill informed at best.

There are a number of variants of the Quran with different words and meanings. This is proven. Your limited knowledge of the Bible manuscripts does not show a problem with God's preservation of His words but a lack of understanding of how the devil is trying to corrupt the bible in these days. Over 95% of all Greek manuscripts of the New Testament agree and are the foundation of the King James Bible. The two manuscripts you mention represent only 5% which themselves have variant readings. There is no dispute about the Old Testament scriptures. If the Catholic church wants to add extra books to the accepted Jewish scriptures, that is their problem. The epistle of Barnabas and Shepherd of Hermes were never accepted as scripture, so there are no issues. Do all Muslims agree with the Hadiths? Of course not. Some reject them completely! Yet, Muslims need the Hadiths to understand the Quran. Which of them do you believe? Because it will depend on whether you are Sunni, Shia or one of the other sects.

I'm sure that you are not implying that there are no debates among Muslim scholars as to the meaning of the Arabic words written in the Quran in the 600's? Even your own scholars debate the meaning of passages in the Quran , which means they are questioning the meaning words and contexts. Just because the Bible is translated doesn't mean the original words in Hebrew and Greek have changed, so we cannot see what point you are making?

@@faithbaptist-church Your claim of 95% agreement in Greek manuscripts is provably false. Read Bruce Metzger's book the The Text of the New Testament: Its Transmission, Corruption, and Restoration. he's a Christian himself. Bart Ehrman famously said there are more errors in the bible than there are words. Even if I granted your claim, still doesn't solve the problem. The bible you hold today does not match a single manuscript in existence. It is made up of verses from a combination of manuscripts from 4th century, all the way to 19th century. Get yourself a Nestle-Aland critical edition bible and you can see it for yourself. Wholesale additions in the bible that I pointed out in my earlier comment shows it is demonstrably not preserved. Preservation of the Quran is in two ways - mass memorisation and also manuscripts. There are almost 12 million huffaz (people who have memorised Quran from cover to cover and they have been accredited by their teacher to teach it). Every Muslim memorises parts of the Quran, as it is required for 5 daily prayers. Unlike the bible which was never accessible to the people, Quran has been with the people from day one. You can't corrupt something that is mass memorised. That's how we know if a scribe has made errors. There are first century (Islamic) manuscripts that read entirely the same as Muslims read today. The Qira'ats that you mention are all read from the same consonantal skeleton called the Uthmanic rasm. The prophet pbuh taught all the Qira'at, so all of them are divinely revealed. They are different and complementary wasy of communicating the same message. Even orientalist scholars will attest to the preservation. Read any of Angelica Newerth, William Muir, Adrian Brockett, Forster Arbuthnot, Christiaan Hurgronje, to name a few.

@@faithbaptist-church you're asking a different question here ... people's ability (or sincerity) to comprehend something. A person may have lack of understanding, but that doesn't question the preservation of the document itself. The language of Jesus was Aramaic and the earliest documents you have is in Greek (non semetic language unlike Aramaic) from fourth century. First time someone claimed the names of the authors is in year 190 by Irenaeus of Lyons. There are 45 other gospels that are extant today that various Christian groups were writing and claiming as scripture. Not until the Roman emperor Constantine forced the clergy was there an agreement on the 27 books of the new testament. The book of Revelation was in the canon, removed from it, and re-added over time. The old testament you hold today is based on Codex Leningrad (12th century). You have no way of establishing what was original, and that it has been faithfully transmitted.

@@ShoaibAhmedNZ Are you aware that Greek was the universal language in Jesus' day? Just as English is the Universal language today, Greek was then. Most people spoke Greek (including Jesus). Even the Romans spoke Greek and their native language was Latin. In fact Greek has been spoken in that region for hundreds of years before Christ. The original authors like Peter, and John and James were the disciples of Jesus, and they wrote in Greek. The rest of what you have written is not correct and simply arguments distorting the historical facts. They are talking points with no evidence.

Surah Al-Ma'idah - 47 Quran.com quran.com › al-maidah So let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ the rebellious. Question: Since you know Islam: Who were the people of the gospel Allah was referring to in around 600AD? How were they to judge? By what gospel? Can you show me that gospel?

Also the fact ur using the Quran to defend that your Bible isn’t corrupted is hilarious 😂 that’s not how u defend ur own scripture by going to a different one 😂 ur a joke. Also these arguments ur making already have been debunked by me in ur comments and by extensive videos made by learned Muslims. Defend ur Bible and explain why u guys have missing verses from some Bible and added in some others

No the Quran doesn’t affirm the Bible. The quran says the injeel was sent to Jesus and we all know the books of the gospel weren’t given to Jesus, but they were written by random anonymous authors later on. So u have no case here. Also the Quran literally says the people of the book will corrupt the message with their hands and mouth. So why are u lying 😂

It's interesting that in the Quran, Muhammed appeals to the the Christians & Jews of his day (some 500 years after the gospels were written) to look at their own scriptures to confirm what he was preaching. In other words, Muhammed agreed that the gospels (Injil) that they had in 600 AD were true scriptures. We have copies of the gospels dating back over 400 years before Muhammed was born and they agree with what we have today. Your statement therefore makes no sense. The Quran says that the people of the book will try to corrupt his message, not their own scriptures which he agreed were present in his day.

Was there any prayers or discussion what happened to God’s chosen people (Israel) on October 7? And how this all plays a part in the end times? And how we need to alert the lost that great judgement is soon coming?

HI Luke, we have been praying regularly for Israel since the October 7th attack on Sundays and Wednesday evening prayer together. I'm not sure how this fits exactly into the end times, but we have been very active in reaching the lost with the gospel, door knocking, street evangelising and other ways. You're welcome to join us in prayer and reaching the lost.
