General Otto has such an intimidating lost, being dragged out by Boba Fett at sunset has such an eerie feeling, which is worsen when brought before Darth Vader, you know Otto is dead . . . Pugwis has by far the worst, being feed to the Sarlacc, he as 1,000 years of a living Hell ahead of him . . .

So it's been a long time since I've played this game. Can someone explain to me why the twins were slaves? Were they undercover like Leia was? I just remember them being rebel twins and that's it.

Most likely they were captured after a routine mission. Snow speeders serve two uses: Quick transport and heavy lifting. it's likely they were cornered by thugs and offered the choice of immediate death or slavery. Now, i think they may have tried to contact the republic in secret. It's possible that Leia knew and infiltrated as boush to get them out as well as save han. Without more info, this is the best i can go on.

It says in their game bio that they left the Rebellion to rescue Han cause they had a crush on him, but they were captured.

@@AllGamingStarred Well, they didn't actually get permission to try their rescue attempt. What they did was tantamount to desertion, and the Rebellion was still stinging from their loss on Hoth. They couldn't spare the resources to go after two pilots who left on their own and stole a snow speeder to boot.

Well, a lot of the EU, up until Episode II, didn't have a lot to draw from yet in the then newly released Star Wars. She was an interesting character that didn't have an end or beginning in the movie but had an iconic look. This gave a lot of room to develop off of while still attaching a familiar face.

@@pubcle Hah, yeah, that reminds me how video games often used weird designes while the prequels were still coming out because they didn't have access to Episode II or Episode III yet. For example, in the DLC to Galactic Battlegrounds, which was released in 2002, the Republic had tons of weird vehicles and ships that were never seen again, because in Episode 2, we don't even see a Republic starfighter (except for the Jedi ones), so they had to come up with one for the game.

@@wilhufftarkin8543 Indeed, used concept designs, various made up elements that "made sense" and other such things. That happens a lot. The earliest Star Wars expanded lore is Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, which is where the names for a lot of species such as the Twi'leks come from. Tons of stuff that eventually became fully adopted and grew into the EU originate from there, and a decent chunk of things that were retconned in the EU.
