Excellent podcast. I feel senior management should all attend LCE’s Reliability Excellence for Management and Managers. Asset Reliability, just as today’s SME’s noted “directly impacts people safety “

My experience with maintenance planners is 1) they sit in offices all day, 2) never come out to inspect any upcoming job fronts, 3, smoke copious amounts of cigarettes and are usually away from their desks at 10 minute intervals, 4) were inept tradespeople when they were on the tools so they were put into their maintenance planning position, 5) when the job starts the tradespeople find that there's no replacement parts supplied for the job which the tradespeople then have to go about organising for themselves.

The online REC Program is an excellent training experience; and is “a must participate growth opportunity and experience”. This interactive program is not only for new reliability engineers, but also for experienced RE’s. The information takeaway to use real-time is best in class!

As Eric Kimberling explained in "Review of Prosci and ADKAR Change management" video - it is too academic, hence abstract. In other words, there is much more to it. As the world continues to evolve we need to have clarity about the change before we "drop" ADKAR onto it. For better success add purpose + clarity + transparency + structure to ADKAR with the aim of achieving cooperation, shared values and great culture.
